Job DescriptionDescription: The Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) will play a key role in delivering high-quality behavior analytic services to individuals diagnosed with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The LBA will build collaborative partnership initiatives to strengthen support systems for children and adolescents with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), other developmental disorders, and/or those with behavioral or pediatric feeding challenges. Working closely with Kelberman's clinical, educational, and administrative leadership teams, the LBA will provide direct services and support to existing programs consistent with best practices in the field using evidence-based practices. The LBA will provide support in our clinic, school consultation, educational, residential, and/or community-based programs based on the needs of the organization. Requirements: EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/ QUALIFITCATIONS/ EXPERIENCE • Master’s Degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education or related field., • Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification required., • NY License in Behavior Analysis required, or license eligible., • 2 Years relevant experience in a related field., • Advanced Computer Skills (Including Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel)., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills., • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances are warranted., • Travel and transport is required. Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License and require reliable transportation. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Job related tasks may involve possible exposure to blood, body fluids, tissue or spills or splashes from these substances. May have exposure to unpredictable individuals and situations when working at Kelberman sites., • OSHA exposure category l., • The employee frequently is required to stand, walk and sit. Must be able remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time., • Must be able to bend, twist, reach., • Must have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
