We Are Looking For The Senior Systems Engineer is a hand-on, self-driven professional responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing Azure cloud and network infrastructure. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong collaboration and leadership skills. What You'll Do (Responsibilities) • Design and implement Azure-based infrastructure solutions including Azure AD, virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, firewalls and VPN gateways, • Manage hybrid identity using Azure AD Connect and Entra ID, • Deploy and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS resources with a focus on scalability, high availability, and cost optimization, • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and native tools, • Support CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to automate deployment of workflows, • Lead cloud modernization and migration initiatives from on-premises environments, • Deploy, configure, and support network devices across multiple sites, including Cisco Meraki MX, MR, and MS platforms, • Design and maintain secure, resilient LAN/WAN topologies using SD-WAN, firewalls, and VPN configurations, • Implement and manage network monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning for optimal performance and reliability, • Collaborate with security teams to ensure network security and compliance alignment, • Administer Windows Server environments (2019/2022) including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO, • Implement and support backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions, • Perform root cause analysis, implement long-term corrective measures, and drive proactive monitoring, • Collaborate closely with application, security, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end solutions, • Manage hybrid infrastructure environments ensuring seamless cloud-to-on-prem connectivity What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills): • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience, • 5-8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, networking, or cloud engineer roles, • At least 3 years of hands-on-experience with Azure infrastructure design, implementation, and operations, • Extensive knowledge of Azure networking, governance, and security, • Skilled in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation scripting, • Experience with containerization tools (AKS, Docker) and monitoring solutions (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) is beneficial., • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure(IaaS, networking, identity, storage, and security), Cisco Meraki (MX, MR, MS, and Dashboard administration), Window Server administrator (2019/2022), PowerShell or other scripting for automation, • Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune), DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Networking fundamentals, Microsoft Security tools (Defender, Sentinel, Conditional Access, etc..), • Deep technical expertise in Azure Cloud Service (IaaS/PaaS) and hybrid environments, • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting ability, • Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences, • Strong organizational and time management skills, • Proven ability to lead projects, set priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision, • Passion for continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies Special Requirements: • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required., • ITAR requirement FDH Aero is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
