Job Description We are seeking a part or full time General Manager to join our family entertainment center! You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of the retail sales team. About Us: Gr8Skates is a premier roller skating rink offering a wide range of activities including roller skating, go-karts, a full redemption arcade, food, and a bar for adults. We host various events such as themed nights, character skates, and educational programs. We are looking for an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team and ensure an exceptional experience for our guests. Responsibilities: * Team Supervision: * • Ability to work weekends, • Supervise and manage a team of retail sales workers and other staff., • Adjust daily schedules for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency and coverage., • Train, mentor, and evaluate employees to enhance their skills and performance. Operational Management: • Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the rink and other facilities., • Track monthly results and trends for business forecasting and make data-driven decisions. Customer Service: • Resolve escalated customer complaints and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction., • Implement strategies to improve overall customer experience. Marketing and Outreach: • Make and post engaging ads on social media platforms to promote events and activities., • Make cold calls to schools, PTAs, and other organizations to promote our programs and secure bookings. Financial Management: • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and work towards achieving financial targets., • Handle cash management, including daily reconciliation of sales and deposits. Event Coordination: • Plan and coordinate special events, themed nights, and promotional activities., • Ensure all events are well-organized and meet customer expectations. Inventory and Maintenance: • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining equipment., • Ensure the facility is clean, safe, and well-maintained. Compliance and Safety: • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations., • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in the entertainment or hospitality industry., • Strong leadership and team management skills., • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills., • Proficient in social media marketing and online advertising., • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities., • Ability to make data-driven decisions and manage budgets effectively.
