Installers are responsible for traveling to a residential or commercial building to install equipment, troubleshoot problems with the work assigned, test the equipment, and clean up the job after completion. Duties and Responsibilities Perform general construction labor tasks including digging, back-filling trenches, and site clean-up. Assist with the installation of products and services under supervision. Load, carry, and deliver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) to and from job sites. Enter confined spaces such as crawl spaces and basements to perform repairs. Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards. Follow instructions closely and adhere to company policies, including safety and workplace conduct. Foster teamwork by building positive relationships and supporting team goals. Maintain professionalism, integrity, and uphold the company’s reputation. Assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to ensure project success. It is an essential function of this job that the employee regularly and reliably reports to work on time each working day. Qualifications Knowledge of trade specific tools for installations and correct use of equipment Previous experience working in the construction industry Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license. While much of your time will be spent performing residential and commercial service work, you will also assist with construction projects between service calls and have the opportunity to lead small crews when needed. Responsibilities • Diagnose and troubleshoot residential and commercial electrical systems., • Perform repairs, service upgrades, panel replacements, lighting installations, EV charger installations, generators, and other electrical work., • Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommended solutions, and pricing., • Identify additional safety concerns and opportunities to improve customers' electrical systems without using high-pressure sales tactics., • Complete service documentation accurately and professionally., • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle., • Work independently with minimal supervision., • Lead and supervise apprentices or small crews on service and construction projects when assigned., • Assist with commercial and residential construction projects during slower service periods., • Maintain a professional appearance and represent Cordoza Electric with integrity. Qualifications • California General Electrician Certification preferred., • Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record., • Minimum 5 years of electrical experience., • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities., • Ability to read plans and electrical diagrams., • Comfortable using tablets, smartphones, and digital work order systems., • Excellent communication and customer service skills., • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational skills., • Ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for support., • Leadership experience or the desire to grow into a leadership role. Job Description We are looking for experienced Electricians to join our team for a commercial tenant improvement project in Vacaville. This is night work between 9pm-5:30am. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial electrical installation, remodels, and finish work and be comfortable working efficiently in an active construction environment. We are needing someone with their current, active CA state certification, as well as an NFPA 70E certification.
