Job DescriptionThe Law Office of Lawrence M. Centanni, P.C. is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Paralegal to join our growing practice. We are a fast-paced New Jersey law firm handling, landlord-tenant matters, real estate transactions and related litigation matters. This position is ideal for a paralegal who can manage files independently, communicate professionally with clients and courts, and thrive in a team environment where responsiveness and attention to detail matter. Responsibilities • Draft and prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, notices, certifications, and discovery, • Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and scheduling, • Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, title companies, brokers, and municipalities, • Assist with landlord-tenant matters, including filings, notices, and court preparation, • Assist with residential and commercial real estate transactions from contract through closing, • Organize and maintain physical and electronic files, • Prepare closing packages and litigation documents, • Handle client intake and case follow-up, • Support attorneys with general litigation and office operations Qualifications, • Prior paralegal or legal assistant experience required, • Experience in a general practice law office strongly preferred, • Familiarity with landlord-tenant and/or real estate matters is a plus, • Strong organizational and communication skills, • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment, • Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail, • Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and legal document management systems, • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, and capable of keeping files moving without constant supervision.
