Job Description Associate Attorney- Commercial Litigation/ Bankruptcy/ Secured Transactions: Mid-sized Syracuse law firm seeks motivated attorney with 5+ years of legal experience, who has experience in general commercial law and litigation with a focus on insolvency matters, including consumer and commercial collections, contract and business disputes, liquidations, workouts, reorganizations, and secured lending. This position requires excellent drafting and research skills; prior experience or familiarity with UCC, CPLR, and/ or Bankruptcy Code will be given extra consideration. The successful candidate will manage litigation files independently and resolve legal disputes on behalf of clients both through in-court litigation and negotiation. This individual will build client relationships and provide excellent customer experiences for clients. Hybrid work options available-some in offices days required. Experience: · Juris Doctorate from ABA-accredited law school · Admission in New York(or ability to waive in) required, additional Admission in Federal preferred · Familiarity with Zoom, MS Teams, and other video conferencing platforms · Ability to travel as needed · High level organization skills for prioritizing workload · Demonstrated ability to absorb, process and understand, new information rapidly · Must exhibit conscientiousness, dedication, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility · Experience with online research sites · Excellent research skills and written and verbal communication skills · Must be able to manage competing priorities · Must maintain high standards of performance · Must have experience with online filing and research sites Salary range will be commensurate with experience. Job Description The Salvation Army, Syracuse Area Services is presently conducting a search for an Accountant to join our Team of Accounting Professionals within the Finance Department for this division of The Salvation Army. The role of an Accountant is to work with their assigned internal customers. You are assigned to specific Departments/Programs where they are responsible for managing the contracts awarded to specific programs. Review of newly awarded contracts, create and monitoring of budgets, General Ledger, billing and will work with Department Heads on the understanding and spend of each contract awarded to their Programs. This position will report directly to the Director of Finance.
