Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and personable Receptionist to join our team on a Contract basis in Cohoes, New York. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and well-organized reception area. Your responsibilities will include administrative support, visitor management, and facility coordination, contributing to the overall efficiency of the workplace. Responsibilities: • Welcome and assist guests, clients, and employees, creating a positive experience upon their arrival., • Coordinate visitor registration with lobby security and notify hosts of arrivals., • Maintain a clean and organized reception area by following established procedures and standards., • Manage meeting room bookings, including setup arrangements and communication with the Conference Center Coordinator., • Assist in setting up and breaking down meeting rooms while providing preliminary IT support as needed., • Provide general administrative services such as copying, printing, and arranging courier shipments., • Support mailroom operations under the direction of the Mailroom Manager., • Document and communicate actions, discrepancies, and ongoing requirements to ensure team continuity., • Deliver exceptional customer service with attention to detail and responsiveness., • Handle additional facility management tasks as assigned by the manager or team.• At least 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field., • Proficiency in using various IT tools and platforms including Microsoft Office Suite., • Strong organizational skills and excellent oral and written communication in English., • Ability to perform light physical tasks, such as walking and carrying small packages., • Familiarity with reception area procedures and visitor management practices., • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests, employees, and management., • Experience handling clerical tasks, including filing, typing, and scheduling., • Capability to provide basic IT troubleshooting and support for meeting setups.
