Job Description Classification: Exempt Reports to: Vice President of Compliance & Data Strategy Location: Manhattan, NY - Corporate Office (with periodic site visits) Status & Hours: Full-time Hours may vary. Lantern staff may be asked to change work schedule and hours depending on the operational needs of the site and the agency. New York, NY Where You Will Work: This role is based primarily at Lantern’s headquarters in Manhattan and supports multiple program sites. Occasional local travel may be required to support off-site or community-based events. About the Role The Supportive Housing Compliance Manager oversees contract compliance, funder reporting, and internal quality assurance across Lantern’s supportive housing programs. This role ensures audit readiness, strengthens program practices, and supports continuous improvement through data-driven monitoring, training, and collaboration with program leadership. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • Support management of city, state, and federal supportive housing contracts and funder requirements., • Serve as a primary liaison with funders regarding compliance, reporting, and program performance., • Oversee preparation and submission of required funder reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables., • Support management of HUD-funded Continuum of Care grants, including APRs, NOFO applications, and monitoring responses., • Plan and conduct internal compliance and quality assurance audits, including chart reviews and site visits., • Develop, implement, and monitor corrective action and quality improvement plans., • Analyze program data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement., • Provide technical assistance and training to staff related to compliance, reporting, and quality standards., • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of program data and reporting tools.Required Education and Experience, • Bachelor’s degree required., • Minimum of three years of experience in contract compliance, quality improvement, program operations, or data reporting in human services., • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate Excel skills., • Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills., • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment., • Ability to travel within the five boroughs of New York City.Preferred Experience, • Experience working with vulnerable or at-risk populations., • Experience working with New York City, New York State, or federal government agencies. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, climb stairs, and/ or kneel.
