Job Description Job Title: Customer Supply Chain Manager (Retail / Customer Focus) Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid) or Vernon, CA (Hybrid) Reports To: Director of Supply Chain Planning Compensation: $90,000-$120,000 + bonus eligible Marketing Message: Are you an operator who knows how to execute against the demands of large retail partners and keep product flowing efficiently from production to shelf? Archer Meat Snacks, the fastest-growing jerky brand in the Natural and Specialty Channel, is searching for a Customer Supply Chain Manager to drive operational excellence across key accounts. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain Planning, you will own end-to-end supply chain execution for major retail partners, including inventory flow, service levels, forecasting alignment, and order execution. This is a highly cross-functional, high-impact role that partners closely with Sales, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Finance, and Logistics to ensure strong customer performance and operational consistency. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on operator who understands how to support high-volume retail accounts, solve problems quickly, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment. What You’ll Own & Impact Customer Supply Chain Execution • Communicating to DP and Sales what the replenishment cycles and inventory flow projections are for top-most retail accounts (e.g. Costco, Walmart, Target, Sam’s Club, Albertson’s, Kroger, etc.), • Manage an experienced Customer Service team (based remotely in Southern California) that is focused on daily order management and customer logistics communications, • Ensure strong in-stock performance, fill rates, and overall service levels across all customers, • Partner closely with Archer’s Sales teams and outside broker partners to monitor for and align on inbound orders versus forecasted expectations Inventory, Forecasting & Performance • Monitor inventory levels across Archer sites and our retailers and distributors to ensure proper coverage and service levels, • Conduct weekly replenishment analyses to monitor store and distribution center inbound supply, demand consumption, and overall inventory status, • Partner with Sales Operations team to own key event forecasting: promotions, resets, new item launches, and product life-cycle terminations, • Identify and manage against risks of out-of-stocks, over-stocks, and other losses (spoilages, obsolescence, etc.), • Partner with Demand Planning to improve forecast accuracy and align supply with customer demand, • Analyze inventory, shipments, and service metrics to identify risks and opportunities Cross-Functional Collaboration • Partner closely with Sales to support account needs, promotions, and execution, • Collaborate with Supply Planning and Operations to align production with demand, • Work with Finance on inventory, cost, and operational performance metrics, • Provide visibility into risks, gaps, and opportunities to leadership and stakeholders Operational Execution & Compliance • Manage retailer compliance requirements, including EDI, routing, and chargebacks, • Support item setup, maintenance, and master data across internal and customer systems, • Identify and resolve operational issues impacting service levels and execution Continuous Improvement • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and optimize inventory efficiency, • Drive initiatives to improve service levels, reduce chargebacks, and streamline operations What Sets You Apart • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations within CPG or food manufacturing, • Experience supporting major retail accounts such as Costco, Walmart, Target, or Sam’s Club, • Strong understanding of forecasting, replenishment, and inventory management, • Experience with retailer systems (EDI, Retail Link, or similar), • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Planning, and Operations teams, • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, • Experience working with 3PLs and external logistics partners, • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field Why Join Archer Meat Snacks?
