Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ 85711 Pay-$16/hr JOB DESCRIPTION This role is a customer service position. The main responsibility is to help customers by answering questions, providing information, fixing problems, and handling complaints—either over the phone or in person. You also keep accurate records and follow rules and procedures when helping people. What you’ll do day to day * Talk to customers (by phone or in person) to answer questions about services or programs * Help with things like licenses, registrations, permits, billing, or eligibility information * Fix customer issues such as billing errors, refunds, service changes, or complaints * Enter and update customer information in computer systems * Keep detailed records of customer interactions and actions taken * Follow up to make sure customer problems were properly resolved * Send complex or unresolved issues to the right department * Collect payments, calculate charges, or help with billing * Notify customers about claim results or service updates * Handle basic cash work, such as counting money, reconciling receipts, and preparing deposits Skills and knowledge needed * Strong customer service and communication skills * Ability to listen carefully and explain information clearly * Good English reading, writing, and speaking skills * Basic clerical and computer skills (records, forms, data entry) * Ability to think critically and solve customer problems * Knowledge of rules, policies, and procedures related to the services offered * Professional judgment when sharing sensitive or restricted information Level of responsibility * This is a journey-level customer service role, meaning you’re expected to work independently * You’ll handle more complex customer issues, research policies, and use discretion when resolving problems Company DescriptionAbout BCforward: Founded in 1998 on the idea that industry leaders needed a professional service, and workforce management expert, to fuel the development and execution of core business and technology strategies, BCforward is a Black-owned firm providing unique solutions supporting value capture and digital product delivery needs for organizations around the world.
