Typical responsibilities include: • Design various natural gas projects including distribution mains, transmission pipelines, metering & regulating facilities as well as launcher/receiver assemblies., • Perform civil site design, trenchless installation design, utility conflict analysis, and traffic control plan design., • Prepare design reports and construction plans using client, local, state, or other applicable standards., • Coordinate preparation of specifications and permit submittals., • Prepare preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities., • Document design changes and communications., • Conduct on-site observations as needed., • Prepare project status and other reports., • Assist in the preparation of proposals., • Assist Project Managers as needed., • Attend client, public, project, and staff meetings including client progress, plan review, preconstruction, etc., • Attend seminars and/or training classes., • Maintain excellent client relations., • Maintain a safe working environment.
