POSITION SUMMARY: This is a new role, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, and will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team. The Senior Vice President of Club Operations (SVP) is responsible for leading and executing all Club operations across the organization, ensuring consistent, high-quality, and outcome-driven experiences for youth at every site. This role oversees Regional Vice Presidents and is accountable for system-wide performance, operational excellence, and the successful execution of organizational strategy at the Club level. The SVP builds the structure, discipline, and leadership needed to scale effectively while maintaining a strong culture of accountability, safety, and excellence. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide direct leadership and oversight of Regional Vice Presidents, ensuring strong field presence, clear expectations, and consistent execution across all Clubs., • Ensure all Club operations are safe, high-quality, and aligned with organizational standards and youth development outcomes., • Drive a culture of excellence and accountability, ensuring Clubs are consistently “ready” and operating at a high level., • Serve as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), partnering with the COO to lead system-wide operational strategy and execution., • Own system-wide operational performance, including Average Daily Participation (ADP), utilization, program quality, safety, and member experience., • Establish and monitor clear performance metrics and hold Regional Vice Presidents accountable for results., • Use data, site visits, and field insight to identify gaps and drive timely, effective solutions., • Ensure Clubs are operating at or above capacity expectations and meeting organizational benchmarks., • Translate organizational strategy into clear operational plans that can be executed consistently across all sites., • Build and refine scalable systems, structures, and standards to support organizational growth., • Lead operational planning for new site openings, transitions, and expansion efforts., • Ensure growth does not compromise program quality, safety, or staff experience., • Partner with Program Leadership to ensure programs are implemented with fidelity while allowing for site-level flexibility., • Ensure strong child safety practices, risk management, and compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements., • Partner with Risk Management and Compliance teams to proactively address operational risks and maintain high standards., • Develop and coach Regional Vice Presidents according to the competencies of the role to strengthen leadership capacity and operational effectiveness., • Ensure strong Club-level leadership by recruiting effectively, hire based on clearly defined role competencies, and support leaders through targeted development and retention strategies., • Build leadership pipelines and succession plans across operational roles., • Support training and development initiatives that improve staff performance and program delivery., • Oversee facilities operations, ensuring all sites are safe, clean, and well-maintained., • Strengthen operational systems, workflows, and cross-functional coordination to improve efficiency and consistency., • Ensure Clubs are equipped and prepared to deliver high-quality programming daily., • Partner with Finance to develop and manage operational budgets aligned with performance goals., • Monitor financial performance across Clubs, including staffing models and resource allocation., • Ensure operational decisions are financially responsible while maintaining program quality., • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, community partners, and stakeholders., • Support Board committees and reporting related to operations, performance, and growth. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred., • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site operations. Experience with Boys & Girls Clubs preferred., • Proven experience leading senior leaders and large, distributed teams., • Strong operational, financial, and performance management expertise., • Demonstrated ability to build systems that support scale and consistency., • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and accountability skills., • Strong communication and executive presence., • Experience in youth development or nonprofit organizations preferred. TRAVEL: Travel will be required to multiple Club facilities and grant funders throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Hernando Counties for training and/or other business purposes.
