Job DescriptionSalary: $60,000 Base + Commission Woods Machinery is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales & Rental Specialistto join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for contractors, landscapers, and businesses looking to rent or purchase equipment. Youll play a key role in building customer relationships, coordinating rental transactions, and supporting the outside sales team. Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement & Sales • Develop strong relationships with contractors, municipalities, and walk-in customers., • Recommend equipment solutions tailored to customer needs, promoting both compact construction and outdoor power equipment (OPE)., • Support daily showroom activity and conduct outbound sales calls to drive revenue. Rental Operations & Coordination • Create rental agreements and coordinate equipment deliveries, pickups, and returns., • Monitor rental fleet condition, availability, and utilization., • Work closely with the Service Department to ensure fleet readiness and proper maintenance., • Identify underperforming units and help implement strategies for improved fleet performance. Product & Industry Knowledge • Stay current on product features, equipment specs, and industry trends., • Confidently communicate benefits and recommend solutions for diverse applications. Sales Process & Reporting • Prepare accurate quotes and manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to fulfillment., • Maintain CRM records and collaborate with internal departments to ensure a smooth customer experience. Team Collaboration & Support • Work cross-functionally with the Parts, Service, Sales, and Rental teams to deliver a seamless customer experience., • Provide post-sale follow-up and help resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
