What we are looking for: The Vice President of Corporate Development is responsible for executing end-to-end dermatology practice acquisitions from initial outreach to successful closure. The Vice President of Corporate Development will work with the CDO, CEO, and senior leadership team to strategically plan and manage M&A initiatives to deliver operational growth and enhance the company’s scale. They will have a talent for leading others, providing excellent customer service, managing critical processes in a scalable manner, and making data-driven decisions. What you'll do: * Responsible for strategic growth efforts primarily focused on mergers and acquisitions. * Fosters strategic relationships and builds trust with prospective board-certified dermatologist owners and the dermatology community at large. * Coordinates strategic acquisition development plans with the Chief Development Officer, Chief Executive Officer, executive leadership team, and the company’s Board of Directors. * Oversees and coordinates the due diligence processes with cross-functional partners and stakeholders. * Works collaboratively to establish regional business growth goals and key performance indicators related to corporate growth. * Prepares strategic and financial reviews for prospective acquisition targets. * Sets up operations for success by thorough, factual debriefing on all transactions and potential risk factors. * Identifies target’s culture and process gaps and opportunities to align integrated and uniform systems that will benefit the practice. * In partnership with Legal, assists in negotiation of target proposals, letters of intent, definitive legal agreements, and final transaction closings. * Provide exceptional customer service and completes communication loops to provide timely feedback and answers to appropriate stakeholders. * Cultivate and cascade Epiphany’s culture and values across all levels of the organization and to external vendors/customers. * Other duties as assigned. It’ll help to have/be: * Proven relationship developer with an exceptional ability to build relationships and establish credibility with physicians who own their own practices. * Has personally led and successfully closed 5-7 deals annually with multiple years of successful negotiations and closures. * Ability to work independently and drive for results. Qualifications/Experience: * Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare operations, healthcare sales / marketing, or related field required. MBA preferred. * Minimum of 5 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, ideally including experience in physician practice or similar clinical corporate development environment. * Proven relationship developer with an exceptional ability to build relationships and establish credibility with physicians who own their own practices. * Ability to travel up to 50% of time and willingness to adjust personal availability according to activity surges and business needs. Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Administrative office may have minimum visits to medical offices with possible exposure to procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
