Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee the full lifecycle of data center development and construction projects up to the point of either Core and Shell or through MEP Construction / Integration / Go Live, • Develop and maintain overall project budgets on all projects, ensuring adherence to financial targets, • Oversee creation and manage project schedules, addressing critical path conflicts as needed, • Develop / Delegate the issuance of RFPs for project bids, evaluate bidder qualifications, and negotiate contracts, • Supervise consultant and contractor activities throughout all project phases, • Oversee job cost tracking systems to ensure compliance with budgets and schedules; process invoices and support cost reporting, • Regularly report on project status and key milestones to senior leadership, • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including permits and safety requirements., • Participate in due diligence processes for potential developments and acquisitions, • Drive zoning and rezoning efforts, understand permit process, collaborate with legal and engineering teams, • Implement sustainability and efficiency initiatives or other energy efficiency programs, • Contribute to ongoing process improvements and workflow optimization within the department, • Belong and attend professional organizations such as AFCOM, ASHRAE, 7x24 Exchange, PTC, Datacenter Dynamics / DCD, Uptime, iMasons, Bisnow, etc., • Possess an extensive network within the mission critical data center facilities construction market, • 8-10+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on complex data center or mixed-use critical facilities projects from inception to completion, • Experience managing Data Center Construction Projects as an Owner or as a General Contractor, • Must be familiar with the design process of building systems for data center and mission critical projects., • Previous GC experience (Holder, Turner, DPR, HITT, etc.), • Strong experience managing project budgets, schedules, and contracts, • Familiarity with design, development, and construction principles specific to mission-critical data center facilities – MEP / CSA : Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, Structural and Architectural, • Proficient in drafting agreements and reviewing contracts, • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with design software is a plus, • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment After applying, if you have further questions, you may call 973-895-5200 and ask for Iggy. The Senior Plumbing Designer will be responsible for working with engineering team members and coordinating consultant responsibilities of studies, design, or construction documents of various scale projects. • Collaborate regularly with architects and other engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, civil, structural; to design plumbing systems that meet project requirements and local building codes., • Create detailed plumbing drawings, and specifications for the installation of water supply, drainage and sewage systems, fire protection, medical gases and specialty water systems., • Perform and document plumbing calculations such as fixture units, to size water supplies and drain, waste and vent systems, storm drain sizing, medical gas sizing, domestic hot water loads, natural gas sizing., • Select plumbing materials, such as pipes, fitting valves and pumps based on system, requirements, budget and compatibility with the client requirements and Architectural design., • Stay up to date with local plumbing codes, regulations and industry standards., • Prepare technical reports to communicate design intent and requirements to clients, contractors and regulatory authorities., • Conduct project site visits and field observations to ensure plumbing installation are implemented according to the design plans and quality standards. Beyond that, you'll need… • Bachelor's degree in engineering field, preferred, • 7+ yrs experience in plumbing design or related field, • PE preferred, • CPD or CPDT, preferred, • Revit proficiency, • Knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations and industry standards., • Knowledge of fire protection systems system, sizing, codes and regulations, desired., • Knowledge of healthcare design including medical gas sizing, codes and regulations and terminology, desired., • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively to meet deadlines., • Familiarity with sustainable plumbing practices and technologies.
