Youth Leaders are motivated, arts-driven young individuals dedicated to creating a positive and engaging learning environment for children. They play a vital role in supporting both students and teachers, helping ensure that every child has a safe, enriching, and enjoyable experience. Participants in the program complete 20–30 hours of annual training, which includes both paid and unpaid hands-on learning opportunities designed to build leadership, teaching, and mentorship skills. In addition to training, Youth Leaders commit to volunteering throughout the year on an as-needed basis to support programs and events at the Institute. In the classroom, Youth Leaders assist teachers, actively engage with students, and help maintain a supportive and safe environment. This role is ideal for young people who are passionate about working with children and have a genuine love for the arts.
