We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supermarket Store Manager with a strong background in supermarket operations to lead and oversee daily store activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional management skills, customer service expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of retail sales, inventory control, and team leadership. This role requires a proactive leader capable of driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the store to meet business objectives. Responsibilities • Oversee daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service., • Lead, motivate, and supervise store staff to ensure high performance and excellent customer experiences., • Manage employee orientation, training & development, and conduct interviewing for new hires., • Handle purchasing, pricing strategies, merchandising, and stock replenishment to optimize sales., • Maintain accurate bookkeeping, payroll processing, cash handling, and store financial records., • Implement effective marketing strategies to increase store traffic and sales., • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards., • Conduct regular inventory control checks and manage POS systems efficiently., • Develop and execute shift management plans to ensure adequate staffing levels during operating hours., • Utilize organizational skills to coordinate promotional activities and manage store layout for maximum merchandising impact., • Proven management experience in a grocery or supermarket environment with supervisory responsibilities., • Strong knowledge of retail math, sales management, inventory management, and POS systems., • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively., • Proficiency in negotiation, merchandising, purchasing, budgeting, and cash handling., • Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for diverse customer engagement., • Experience in employee recruitment, interviewing, training & development is preferred., • Organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory control., • Demonstrated ability to handle customer service issues professionally with good phone etiquette., • Knowledge of retail sales techniques including marketing strategies and promotional planning., • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent organizational skills and time management.
