Job Description We are seeking a reliable, hardworking team member to assist with warehouse operations, stock handling, and material preparation in a facility that stores, handles, and ships rebar and concrete-related products (steel reinforcement bars, mesh, wire, supports, concrete accessories, etc.). This role supports receiving, inventory management, shipping, and yard organization to ensure that materials are available and delivered efficiently, safely, and accurately. Key Responsibilities • Receive incoming shipments of rebar, mesh, steel accessories, and related concrete products; inspect for damage, count, and verify quantities., • Unload trucks, trailers, containers, and position materials in the warehouse or yard., • Organize, stack, and store material (bars, mesh, cages) in designated locations, maintaining good order and accessibility., • Pick, pack, and stage orders for customer pickup or delivery—prepare bundles, tie, band, label, and wrap as needed., • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move heavy loads., • Assist with loading outgoing deliveries, ensuring safe, secure, and properly balanced loads., • Maintain inventory accuracy: enter counts, conduct cycle counts, and report discrepancies., • Keep work areas, aisles, yard and storage areas clean, free of hazards, and well-organized., • Perform preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment (e.g. clean, lubricate, inspect)., • Assist other warehouse or yard tasks as needed, including general labor, cleanup, and supporting other departments.
