You will serve as a primary drafter for dispositive motions and appellate briefs, develop legal strategy on novel legal questions, and manage federal cases from complaint through resolution. You will work directly with senior partners on high-stakes matters, including petitions for certiorari, circuit court appeals, and trials. We are looking for an attorney who views brief writing as a craft. Responsibilities • Draft substantive filings, including complaints, motions for summary judgment, and appellate briefs in the United States Courts of Appeals., • Research circuit splits, issues of first impression, and developing doctrine under federal civil rights and constitutional law, • Assist in preparing petitions for certiorari and amicus briefs., • Top-Level Research & Writing Skills: We prioritize writing ability above all else.
