Job Description Kleinschmidt has a full time opening for a Designer-Drafter in Portland, Oregon or Redmond, Washington to support the delivery of hydroelectric and fish passage projects. Salary: $29.00-45.00 per hour (based on experience) Required Qualifications • Associates in Drafting or similar degree., • 5+ years of experience in AutoCAD leading the development of architectural, structural (concrete and steel structures), mechanical, electrical, and civil drawing sets., • Proven 3D design experience with ability to visualize and communicate in 3D., • Experience with Civil 3D and modeling software (Solidworks, AutoCAD MEP, Revit, BIM, MicroStation, InfraWorks, Recap, and/or 3DsMax)., • Excellent problem solving skills and oral and written communication skills, • Autodesk Advanced Certified Professional, • Must possess permanent authorization to work in the United States Typical duties of this position include leading the development of drawings of concrete and steel structures and general civil design on hydroelectric and fish passage projects under the direction of mid-and senior-level engineering staff.
