THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking a team leader to run point on client pick-ups and warehouse operations for our Council Bluffs, IA location (just across the river from Omaha)! This role involves performing onsite client pickups of decommissioned IT equipment, ensuring secure handling and transport in line with company and industry data security standards. The ideal candidate is committed to safe driving practices, excellent customer service, and reliable schedule management. Additionally, we seek a candidate with 2+ years of experience in logistics or warehouse management, including leadership experience. While prior ITAD service experience is a plus, it is not required. What makes this role unique is its multi-faceted nature: you will support business development through client relationship management, client pickups, and warehouse operationsincluding inventory, packaging, and shipping. As part of a small, dynamic team, you will extend support to our teams in AZ, CA, TN, and TX, helping us expand our reach and make a broader community impact. Reports to:This position reports to the Director of Warehouse Operations Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000/Yearly - DOE Schedule: While most workdays will follow a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, flexibility is essential. You should expect the majority of days to run on regular hours, whether you're at the warehouse or out on a pick-up. However, there will be timesespecially during client pick-upswhen the day may run longer, and we need someone who can stay and see the job through when necessary. A large part of this role involves a significant amount of driving. Your responsibilities will include both local and regional pick-ups. Regional travel may take you a few hours away or across state lines, and it may involve travel by truck or plane. Traveling away from home will make up about 50% of the role. We understand the importance of work-life balance and prioritize having you home on weekends whenever possible. Youll receive as much notice as we can provide ahead of any travel. Check out our ER2 services to get a better understanding of what our operation looks like: Check out this video: (copy & paste the link into your browser) Check out this video: (copy & paste the link into your browser) THE PERFECT FIT: • 2+ years of relevant experience in logistics/warehouse management, • 2+ years leadership experience required, • Able to balance attention to detail with swift execution, • Customer focused, • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, • Willingness to support others, • Someone who enjoys driving!, • Ability to work independently at times, but communicate consistently, • Basic computer skills, ideally someone who is comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets/Email, • Comfortable using a pallet-jack, forklift, and baler (if not already trained- must be willing to learn), • Hard working & willing to get your hands dirty Warehouse Management • Drive warehouse operational and organizational excellence, • Recruit, lead, and develop a team, • Maintain and lead safety procedures in a warehouse environment, • Manage budget, monitor expenses, and control costs, • Process and sort IT equipment efficiently to be transferred to our other locations, • Maintain accurate records and ensure processes support our required certifications, • Follow planned daily route based on pick-ups assigned (box truck), • Provide excellent customer service when picking up from clients, • Conduct onsite inventory of products being picked up, • Safely and securely load, transport, and unload goods, • Report on production and set goals for the team, • Work with local scrap and recycling vendors, • Keep up with daily communication with clients, partners, and team members via phone and email, • Perform vehicle inspections, • Maintain accurate records, • Clean and maintain company vehicles, as well as supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations., • Provide assistance or direction to counterparts in other locations.
