Job Summary The Direct Care Worker (DCW) supports adult individuals with developmental disabilities in a licensed residential group home setting. This position provides hands-on personal care, behavioral support, and daily living assistance to residents in amale residential program. The DCW is responsible for maintaining a safe, structured, and respectful environment while supporting independence, skill development, and community participation in accordance with individualized support plans and regulatory requirements. Job Location This residential group home is located near S Mountain Rd & E Williams Fld Rd in MESA,AZ 85212 Key Responsibilities Resident Care & Support • Provide direct support to residents in a male residential group home, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, feeding, and mobility., • Implement approved support and behavior strategies consistently and professionally to promote safety and stability within the home., • Observe and monitor residents physical and emotional well-being and promptly report concerns to supervisory or nursing staff., • Administer prescribed oral medications and provide delegated health-related support in accordance with training, care plans, and agency policy., • Prepare and serve meals according to dietary guidelines and individual support plans., • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of the home, including housekeeping and laundry tasks., • Accurately document services provided, daily observations, and any incidents in compliance with agency and state requirements., • Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and interdisciplinary partners to ensure continuity of care., • Follow all safety procedures, emergency protocols, and residential licensing standards. Qualifications: Required Qualifications • High school diploma or GED required; DSP, CNA, HHA, or related experience preferred., • Ability to work in amale residential living environmentand provide personal care support tomale residents., • CPR/First Aid certification, • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card, • Three professional references required., • Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ability to maintain appropriate boundaries., • Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and/or behavioral support needs preferred., • Valid drivers license with acceptable driving record and ability to transport residents., • Article 9 Certification Licensed residential group home serving adult male residents. The role requires active engagement, physical stamina, and flexibility. Shifts may include evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
