Job DescriptionDescription: We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant (EA) at the Seattle Storm. This role requires a professional with exceptional organizational skills, the ability to manage internal and external schedules, and a proactive approach to ensuring operational excellence. Ideal candidates will have executive-level administrative experience, project management skills, and strong communication skills. This role is viewed as an adjunct member of the Leadership Team and integral to ensuring the effectiveness of our President & CEO both internally and externally. We have a hybrid workplace. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · Act as a trusted gatekeeper for all inquiries, facilitating clear, professional, and efficient communication both internally and externally. · Manage complex calendars, schedules, and cross-functional agendas, ensuring seamless coordination of meetings, appointments, travel arrangements, and collaboration within the Leadership Team · Proactively identify opportunities to enhance productivity and streamline daily operations. · Handle approval requests, document management, and any coordination of physical shipments by Leadership Team. · Prepare and process expense reports. · Track project milestones and deadlines, providing regular updates to the executive. · Build a strong, trusting working relationship with the President & CEO in order to increase delegation over time. · Coordination and communication with owners and ownership group where needed · Access to transportation for external events and games Additional Responsibilities: · Provide light administrative support to other executives and ownership when appropriate, while ensuring the President & CEO’s priorities remain central. · Manage key meeting agendas: Leadership team weekly meetings, assist in other broader reaching leadership meetings · Manage company calendar in accordance with seasonal activities and communicate as needed · Opportunity to provide personal assistance as needed to President & CEO · Other duties as assigned Requirements: Education: · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience · Master’s a plus. Related experience: · 10+ years of executive assistant experience, project management, communications or Chief of Staff · Prior sports industry or media experience a plus Competencies: · Highly collaborative in a team environment · Able to influence without authority · Discretion and trust · Flexible for the right reasons · Pride in ownership · Self - starter Required Skills: · Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong written and verbal communication skills · Ability to capture voice of President/CEO in written form · Strong project management skills to manage people and timelines to meet a goal · Event & meeting management from start to finish · Ability to manage internal and external expectations to drive time management of President & CEO Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a loud work environment when attending professional basketball games at home or away. The noise level in the daily work environment is low to normal for an open office space.
