Responsibilities: About the Role During a visit that can last up to one hour, Matrix providers review and observe a member’s current health, medical history, medication adherence, social environment and other risks. The Matrix Comprehensive Health Assessment (CHA) helps to improve quality of care and allows us to potentially close multiple care gaps with a single visit. New grads welcome If you love talking through cases, questioning your approach, and finding better ways to help your patients, you’ll fit in at Summit. Our staff is full of PT nerds. We share articles, research, and videos, and our meetings include case reviews, new evidence, and teaching. We ask a lot from our PTs. We invest a lot in them too. We expect you to grow as a therapist and take ownership of your patient outcomes. In return, we give you protected mentorship, clinical autonomy, the tools to do your job well, and opportunities to grow. This isn’t for everyone, and we want you to know exactly what you’re signing up for. What the job actually looks like You’ll typically see 10–16 visits per day, including about one evaluation. Patients are scheduled every 20 minutes for roughly hour-long visits, so yes, visits overlap. Our therapists average about 2 visits per hour over the course of a week. We have no techs or aides, and we don’t share patients between therapists. You own your caseload from evaluation through discharge. Our population is predominantly high function orthopedic and sports patients, with relatively few high-complexity or gait and balance cases. (think suburban weekend warriors and their families) Our clinic is designed to make this model efficient and effective. We block additional time when a patient needs it. Since adopting Prompt’s AI documentation, our therapists rarely take notes home. Occasionally, you’ll have one or two notes left at the end of the day. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 9 p.m. Two late evenings come with earlier finishes on the other three days. What you get in return Protected mentorship Every new grad completes a 12-month mentorship program with OCS-certified PTs: one protected hour of education and one protected hour treating patients with a mentor every week, following a defined clinical curriculum. The Youth Organizer is the person who makes that movement feel like a place young people belong, not just a program they complete. THE OPPORTUNITY This role is designed for a recent graduate, alum, or advanced fellow ready to grow as a lead organizer. The Youth Organizer builds the base: on the ground through school visits, canvassing, and 1,000 Turnout Sessions, and online through the Youth Power Action platform. This role does not deliver our fellowship curriculum. It is movement building. The Youth Organizer works closely with the two College Fellow Facilitators and reports to the Program Manager. THE OPPORTUNITY The College Fellow Facilitator is a trained facilitator and cohort lead. Each facilitator carries a group of 15 high school fellows through the academic year curriculum, holding the program's 1 to 15 staff-to-student ratio. Outside of direct facilitation, this role helps build the youth base through 1,000 Turnout Sessions, YPA platform activation, and community organizing alongside the Youth Organizer. This is a growth role. Facilitators are trained in curriculum delivery, group process, and youth development, with weekly coaching from the Program Manager. Strong performance opens the door to advanced fellow, organizer, or program staff roles in future cycles. HOW THE WEEK WORKS Roughly 4 hours per week are direct facilitation with your cohort, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The balance of the 15 hours is spread across session prep, fellow follow-up, 1,000 Turnout Sessions, YPA platform engagement, and community outreach. You will also hold a weekly check-in with the Program Manager and join a Friday team processing session with the full facilitator team.
