Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An onsite Intervention Specialist is needed to support high school students in a dropout recovery program located in Cincinnati, Ohio. This full-time contract position (40 hours per week) runs from ASAP through June 22, 2026, with the possibility of annual renewal based on performance and fit. The role focuses on providing targeted academic and behavioral interventions to help students remain engaged and successfully complete their education. Responsibilities include: • Delivering individualized and small group instruction tailored to students requiring academic and behavioral support, • Developing, implementing, and monitoring Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention plans in collaboration with general education teachers and support staff, • Utilizing data-driven approaches to assess student progress and modify instruction as needed, • Building strong, supportive relationships with students to promote motivation, engagement, and confidence, • Collaborating with families, school administrators, and community partners to enhance student success and readiness for graduation, • Experience as a Special Education Teacher or Intervention Specialist, preferably within a high school setting, • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation, • Ability to design and adapt behavioral and academic interventions based on student needs, • Excellent communication and collaboration skills Benefits include competitive weekly pay, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees, 401(k) with company match, clinical advisory support with licensed mentors, and license reimbursement opportunities.
