Job Description Job description UBX Boxing + Strength is currently seeking a passionate and positive Head Coach to join our team! As a Head Coach, you will be responsible for leading members and teammates through our unique mix of boxing and strength training 45-minute (12 round circuit) workouts in an ultra-flexible format that removes class schedules and bookings altogether. You will be directly responsible for scheduling, training, and developing the fitness program under the leadership from the studio manager. Our success has come from our ability to rethink boxing and rethink group training in a way that gives members access to a unique mix of boxing and strength training in an ultra-flexible format that removes class schedules and bookings altogether. Our training methodology was inspired by our Co-Founder, and four time world champion boxer, Danny Green, who uses a combination of boxing skills and drills, high impact, explosive training and functional strength to stay at his peak. Job Requirements Education and/or Experience Required: • High school diploma or General education degree (GED) required, • Must hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an accredited education company, preferred certifications include NSCA, ACE, PTA Global Certified Trainer, ACSM, ISSA and NASM, • Must hold and maintain a current CPR certification, • Experience with One on One Personal Training (2 Years), • Experience with Boxing (1 Year), • Must understand heart rate focused training programs and the science that supports our workouts, • Excellent communication and customer service skills, • Ability to motivate members and provide a world-class fitness experience, • Enthusiastic, energetic, personable, and friendly disposition, • Team player, • Willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays, • Knowledge of CRMs Company Benefits & Perks: • Competitive pay, • PTO, • Sick Days, • Major Holidays off, • Flexible schedules, • Workout for free, • Athleisure Dress Code (Black on Black Uniforms), • Career Advancement, • Weekly Development Meetings Physical Demands: Fitness Coaches are leaders of the UBX Boxing + Strength workouts, requiring them to be on their feet leading and instructing members for the entirety of the workout. Schedules require a minimum of 2 hours consecutively, and 8 hours of availability throughout the week. Capable of lifting up to 100lbs.
