Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CMA, • Discipline: CMA, • Start Date: 02/09/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Local Contract Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Location: Fort Lee, NJ Pay: $20–$24/hr Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (No weekends) Office Closed: Major holidays (New Year’s Day, July 4th, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas) No on-call requirement • No floating Job Summary We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Fort Lee team. The CMA assists in providing clinical care to patients under the supervision of a licensed medical practitioner and supports daily office operations with clerical duties. This role requires excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced medical environment. Key Responsibilities • Prepare exam and treatment rooms, supplies, and instruments, • Assist patients in preparation for physician exams, • Take and record patient vital signs in medical charts, • Operate and maintain special medical equipment, • Perform EKG, PFT, Audiometry, Titmus testing after completion of performance evaluation checklist, • Perform UDS, BAT, phlebotomy, and other lab testing after evaluation checklist completion, • Maintain patient records and documentation accurately, • Assist with collections and billing processes as needed, • Use computer software to maintain office systems, • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, • Provide patient-centered care tailored to cultural, linguistic, and age-related needs, • Perform other duties and projects as assigned, • Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior, • High school diploma or GED, • AHA BLS certification, • One of the following CMA certifications:, • CMA-NHA, • CMA-NCCT, • CMA-AAMA, • RMA-AMT, • RMA-NAHP, • AMCA, • 3+ years of experience preferred, • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, • Ability to work with diverse patient populations, • Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting, • Experience with computerized processes and data entry, • Required hard skills: rooming patients, working in EMR, taking vital signs, • Blood drawing experience is a plusWork Attire, • Scrub color: Maroon
