IT Manager We’re seeking an experienced IT manager who has the technological skills to make us even more efficient. This person will analyze current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of network maintenance, experience as a manager, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. The IT manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth. This position requires excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and the ability to perform duties effectively. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Objectives of this role • Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware, • Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative, • Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software, • Track and maintain hardware and software inventory, • Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions, • Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions, • Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement, • Prepare cost–benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best-possible service and value for business needs, • Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed, • Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups, • Own the day-to-day administration and assist the IT head with the strategic development of our entire IT infrastructure, • Deliver responsive and high-quality 1st and 2nd-level end-user support, resolving issues within SLA timelines, • Ensure operational continuity across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments, • Manage mobile and desktop devices with our MDM-Solutions, • Maintain and enhance network performance and security, including coordination with external vendors, • Lead and contribute to IT projects, especially around cloud infrastructure, operations optimization, and security compliance, • Provide IT onboarding, user training, and ongoing education initiatives, • Oversee IT asset management, procurement, and vendor relations, • Support SAP end-users and ensure smooth integration between IT and business systems, • Collaborate across departments to align IT solutions with business needs, • Evaluate and roll out enterprise software platforms as required, • Develop policies and procedures for IT department, • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience, • 7+ years of broad IT administration experience (network, systems, support, cloud, etc.), • Proven expertise in Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, and Windows Server, • Strong skills in endpoint management (Intune, Endpoint Central) and networking (firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP), • Experience in vendor and contract management, • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure, • Effective communication in English, both written and verbal, • Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (ex: Microsoft Exchange, SAP), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring, • Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions, • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science, • Professional certification, • Desired mandarin language skills Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Microvast employee, you are eligible for the following benefits: • Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance – United Healthcare & Principal, • Company-paid Life & AD&D plus voluntary options for family, • Health Savings & Flexible Spending Accounts with tax advantages, • Company-paid Long-Term Disability + optional Short-Term Disability, • Voluntary Accident & Critical Illness Insurance, • Preventive care covered at 100% for participating employees, • 401(k) Plan, • Sick and Vacation Time, • Paid Holidays, • Employee Assistance Program Annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
