Job Description Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ER) Location: Syracuse, NY Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks Compensation * Local Rate: Up to $2,173.50/week (based on experience) Night Shift * 3 shifts per week * 12.5-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) * 37.5 hours per week * Every other weekend required * Some holidays required Position Overview "Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced emergency care team in a large acute care hospital. The RN will deliver high-quality care to both adult and pediatric patients, performing rapid assessments and ensuring timely treatment in a dynamic emergency environment. The ideal candidate is a strong clinical professional who can work efficiently under pressure and collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Key Responsibilities * Provide emergency nursing care to adult and pediatric patients * Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity * Administer medications and treatments as prescribed * Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate patient care * Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to emergencies * Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record system * Maintain patient safety and follow hospital policies and clinical best practices Required Qualifications * Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New York State * BLS certification * Minimum 1.5 years of recent Emergency Department experience in an acute care hospital * Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Preferred Qualifications * Experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers * Experience with EPIC electronic medical records * Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients For more details contact at or Call / Text at 516-862-1169.
