Our goal is to build a pipeline of gun safety candidates up and down the ballot and to ensure that gun safety is a winning issue in races across the country. This role will be critical to advancing Everytown’s electoral strategy and our commitment to expand the number of volunteers who seek elected office. The Program Coordinator will focus on managing and refining systems for tracking and generating data and reports about volunteers running for office, as well as data and trends to support leadership, fundraising, and communications activities aimed at building the visibility and reach of the Demand a Seat volunteer campaign management training program. The Coordinator will play a key role in collecting and managing data and will support recruitment and program engagement by working with data, field, legal, and digital teams to set up emails, mass texting, phonebanking and other tactics. The Coordinator will also be responsible for planning and executing key logistical activities for in-person and virtual events, as well as managing and tracking spending in accordance with allocated budgets. Candidates should be proactive, flexible self-starters with a strong attention to detail who have a proven track record of success in managing complex and time-sensitive projects. The Coordinator will be expected to conduct timely research on Gun Sense Candidates and synthesize information in a concise manner to support decisionmaking. This position will be for the duration of the 2026-2028 election cycle and will be based in the New York City or Washington, DC offices.
