Position Summary: As our EHS & Facilities Coordinator, you will lead the facilities operations covering multiple sites in Orange, CA. The role has direct oversight of facilities vendors, suppliers, and contractors. Additionally, the role will develop health and safety procedures for all areas of the company. Qualifications & Requirements: • High School or GED required, • 3+ years of experience in Facilities Management and processes, negotiating and contracting of external services, project management, facility operations and building maintenance, • 2 years experience in Environmental Health & Safety, • Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.), • Must possess excellent organizational skills and follow-up skills, • Strong communication skills both verbally and written, • Knowledge of applicable state/federal laws, regulations, nationally recognized standards, and guidelines, as related to specialized environmental health and safety functions of the position, • Excellent time management skills and the ability to utilize time and resources effectively and efficiently, • Sense of urgency; ability to take action quickly in a fast-paced environment, • Ability to complete tasks on time with high quality, • Strong background in incident investigations, such as 5-Why, etc. Our core values - Accountability, Collaboration, and Empowerment (ACE) - are the foundation of how we operate and drive success. Are You Our Next ACE? • Ensure sites are operated and maintained in an efficient manner, • Proactively ensure all site operational support needs are met, including the hosting of large meetings and events, • Manage all facilities and environmental operating permits and performance of all related actions including any recording and reporting, • Manage all site supplies, services, and amenities including the associated vendors and contractors, • Manage all aspects of preventive maintenance, • Manage performance of all support vendors and contractors covering areas such as janitorial, landscaping, HVAC, electrical, painting, furniture, hoists, powered industrial trucks, conveyors, etc, • Implement and monitor OSHA regulations and Company safety policies and procedures, • Comply with current health and safety regulations with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of employees and visitors, • Conduct necessary safety audits and training of employees, • Coordinate registration and disposal of hazardous waste materials, • Investigate and report all injuries, accidents, incidents involving employees and visitors, • Report and respond to orders issued by inspectors from environmental, health, and safety agencies, • Assists all executives, managers, and supervisors in emergencies preparedness, • Responsible for routine and preventative site maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, organizing, minor repairs, machine maintenance, safety inspections and compliance, • Submits required data, records and completes permits in relation to CERS, • Conducts routine inspection of fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, first aid kits, exit signs, lights, AED units and other safety related equipment, • Maintains safety related documents such as safety trainings, building maps, evacuation plans, and other related documents, • Responsible for weekly SOAR card reports to General Manager & Safety Team, • Weekly safety topics for the Tier 1 meetings, • Conducts surveys and drafts reports of all such surveys concerning environmentally related issues, • Other duties as assigned Systems Youll Use: • Google Enterprise, • BambooHR, • Paycom & ADP, • GlobalShop ERP, • Uconnect Pay Transparency: Winchester Interconnect Corporation is committed to pay transparency. Job Description ABOUT THE ARC The Salvation Army (TSA) Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program to assist men & women in their journey to complete our rehabilitation program. We are grateful for the contributions our valued employees make toward the maintenance and effectiveness of the programs. FACILITY MANAGEMENT • Ensure proper maintenance of grounds and buildings, scheduling needed repairs and other maintenance work within guidelines provided by the Administrator for Program., • Provide routine supervision of residence desk (where applicable), canteen, laundry, and janitorial staff including such training as needed in canteen operations, laundry operations, proper phone procedures and customer relations for reception desk, and appropriate safety requirements for cleaning supplies., • Supervise inside and outside workers for special projects or repairs., • Provide orientation of new beneficiaries and communicate all program and residence requirements., • Assign rooms/beds including private rooms in accordance with set procedures. Conduct random locker checks as required by review standards, but not less than once per month., • Monitor, facilitate, supervise beneficiary activities including prescription medications, house meetings and devotions, and adding items to Personal Property Statements., • Provide short-term crisis counseling., • Provide recreational programming for residents. Participate in all activities at the residence, maintaining open relationships with all beneficiaries., • Supervise and/or administer Breathalyzer testing when requested by Program staff or when beneficiaries return to the residence., • Oversee urine test specimen collection; ensure proper security procedures are followed including labeling and transport., • Act as a role model for beneficiaries, both as a resident of the ARC and as an individual in recovery, via personal conduct, appearance and general behavior., • Prepare and submit ARCC-210 forms in accordance with current policies as required., • Make security rounds each evening after retiring., • Ensure that fire drills in the residence are conducted and documented on a regular basis (minimum 2 times annually)., • Maintain good order and discipline without favoritism in accordance with ARCC policies., • Discharge, when appropriate, those beneficiaries whose behavior warrants such a consequence., • Help coordinate special events at the facility in cooperation with the Administrator for Program. These events include (but are not limited to) holiday events, retreats, intern dinners, and others as scheduled., • Drive a Salvation Army passenger van as part of regular duties; this may include transporting beneficiaries to/from Work Therapy Units (WTU) including stores; outside meetings; Chapel, and other appointments., • Maintain necessary records and statistics as directed., • Coordinate vacation time with Administrator for Program in advance to ensure that coverage for all functions is provided., • Know ARC Safety Regulations for the residence and ensure that staff and beneficiaries follow these requirements., • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with established policies and laws to help maintain program integrity., • Overtime. All overtime must have prior written approval of the Administrator for Program., • Problem Solving - Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully and develop solutions., • Customer Service - Manage difficult and/or emotional beneficiaries, colleagues and/or stakeholders; promptly address their needs to ensure mutually satisfying outcomes., • Oral Communication - Speak professionally, clearly, and persuasively in a variety of potentially challenging situations; seek clarification and respond appropriately to questions., • High School graduate or equivalent (GED)., • Program graduate with continuing involvement in a program of recovery is preferred, but not required., • Ability to supervise beneficiaries as revealed by experience, training, and/or interview., • Integrity, resourcefulness, initiative and evidence of self-improvement., • Demonstrate ability to support and apply the philosophy and goals of The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center Program as stated in the Mission Statement. Schedule • Work schedules are determined by Management and employee must be flexible to always ensure adequate coverage., • Full-time employees may be scheduled to work any shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
