This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, extensive experience with press brands such as Minster, Komatsu, Bliss, and V&O, and the ability to work with hydraulic and pneumatic components. Candidates should be self-motivated, quality-focused, and capable of maintaining and repairing equipment to tight tolerances with minimal supervision.Responsibilities, • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical stamping presses (V&O, Minster, Komatsu, Bliss), • Maintain and repair clutch & brake systems, roll feeds, servo feeds, light curtains, tonnage monitors, and coil handling systems, • Perform preventative maintenance and document service activities to ensure equipment reliability, • Support die setups and work alongside tooling and production teams to reduce downtime, • Diagnose issues in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical press systems, • Maintain accurate service logs, adjustment records, and compliance documentation, • Ensure all press operations meet safety and ISO 9001:2015 quality standards, • Maintain .001” accuracy and press alignment to ensure high-quality output, • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety practices, • Respond quickly to maintenance needs with minimal supervisionQualifications and Requirements, • 3+ years of direct experience maintaining and repairing mechanical punch presses, • Familiarity with metal stamping operations, progressive die tooling, and related systems, • Must own a full set of mechanic tools suitable for press maintenance, • Skilled in diagnosing mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic press issues, • Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals, • Basic electrical troubleshooting is a plus, • High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school preferred, • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment, • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a proactive, team-based cultureBenefits and Perks, • $30–$45/hr based on experience, • 100% employer-paid health, dental & vision, • PTO and retirement plan options, • Long-term opportunity with advancement potentialYour New OrganizationFounded in 1967, the company is a leader in precision metal stamping, custom tooling, and complex manufacturing solutions.
