How you'll make an impact The Benefits Account Manager position with RPA (Risk Program Administrators) is crucial in ensuring that school districts have the appropriate P&C insurance coverage to protect their assets, staff, and students, while also providing strategic risk management advice to minimize potential liabilities. We strive for the best service and building solid relationships with our clients! This role is hybrid out of our San Diego office and budgeted at $85k Here’s what you’d be doing: • Responsible for the day-to-day account management for routine/moderately complex client accounts including retention goals., • Manages an assigned book of business and builds, expands, and solidifies relationships with existing clients., • Leads appropriate resources to address the client's risk/capital management needs., • Secures existing business and drives the sale of additional services and coverage levels., • Nurtures relationships with the most senior buyer in the client organization as well as with day-to-day client representatives and buyers., • Responding to and fulfilling requests and inquiries, • Advising members regarding risk management and insurance issues, • Assisting with the design and implementation of new programs and services, • Analyzing member exposures for renewal rating, • Meeting with members throughout the year to market new programs and services, and review renewal documents and loss history, • Coordinating training sessions related to company programs, services, etc., • Prioritizing member events and attending member conferences, • Leading, organizing, and updating member data using database applications, • Bachelor's degree or Customer Service experience similar to the role outlined above, • Customer-focused mindset, • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and innovative thinking, • Ability to work with minimal direction (self-starter, project management skills), • Excellent digital literacy with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, • Insurance experience #LI-KK2 Compensation and benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
