The ideal candidate will have strong experience in cardiovascular operating room procedures and be skilled in both first and second scrub roles. Schedule & On-Call: \t • Day shifts: 4x10-hour shifts (Monday–Friday, schedule determined upon arrival)\t, • Shift time: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM\t, • Must live at least 100 miles from the facility\t, • NBSTSA certification required\t, • Current BLS certification required\t, • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program\t, • Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience (first and second scrub)\t, • Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures\t, • Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs\t, • Maintain sterile field and ensure proper surgical protocols\t, • Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts with RN staff\t, • Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and room turnover\t, • Ensure proper cleanup and preparation for the next case\t Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
