Job Description COMPENSATION: $125,000 - $145,000 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide leadership and oversight of all administrative, programmatic, and property management functions for Hope House, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant 24/7 operations., • Lead the ongoing implementation, review, and revision of the Program Policy and Operations Manual (POM); ensure all staff are trained on and adhere to policies and procedures, and make recommendations for continuous improvement., • Ensure full compliance with all applicable contracts, grants, and regulatory requirements, including those issued by the San Francisco Department of Homelessness and Supportive Housing (HSH) and The Salvation Army’s national Social Service Standards., • Maintain fiscal compliance by monitoring expenditures, managing program budgets, participating in financial reviews and audits, and ensuring alignment with approved contract budgets., • Oversee data collection and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely entry in HSH’s OneSystem and The Salvation Army’s WellSky system., • Lead program audits and quality assurance reviews, including quarterly internal audits of client files, data accuracy, service delivery, staffing documentation, and compliance records; ensure audit readiness for the City and County of San Francisco and Salvation Army reviews., • Supervise, coach, and support program staff; conduct annual performance evaluations, support professional development, and address performance or corrective action issues as needed., • Ensure adequate staffing coverage, scheduling, onboarding, training, and retention to support program operations and participant safety., • Represent Hope House and The Salvation Army to city and community partners, funders, donors, SF Metro Advisory Board, and other external stakeholders and organizations, serving as the primary program liaison., • Develop and maintain strong internal and external partnerships to support coordinated service delivery and integration between Hope House and the other programs of The Way Out’s Recovery System of Care, and external treatment, housing, and support service providers., • Monitor program outcomes and performance metrics, identify trends, and implement corrective action or quality improvement strategies as needed., • Perform other duties as assigned to support the goals and objectives of Hope House and The Way Out. Job Description The Event Set up and Deliver Driver plays a critical behind-the-scenes role in the successful execution of weddings and events across our Presidio venues, including the Golden Gate Club, Officers’ Club, and Log Cabin. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on, physically active work and takes pride in keeping events running smoothly through timely deliveries, efficient setup, and organized breakdown. This is a part-time role with flexible scheduling, well suited for candidates balancing school or another job. Typical Schedule Availability • Monday–Sunday: 5:00am–2:00pm, • Friday–Sunday: 2:00pm–11:00pm, • Some overnight shifts available What You’ll Be Doing • Safely transport food, equipment, and supplies between Presidio venues using company vehicles, • Load, unload, and deliver hotboxes, tables, chairs, décor, and event equipment according to event timelines, • Read and follow Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure accurate setup and delivery, • Set up and break down event spaces, including ceremonies and receptions for up to 200 guests, • Assist with room flips, furniture moves, and post-event breakdown, • Work closely with banquet captains, kitchen teams, and event staff to support smooth operations, • Maintain organized storage areas and properly return equipment after events, • Provide limited banquet service support only as needed (this is not a primary serving role) Physical Requirements This role is physically demanding and requires the ability to: • Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds (with or without reasonable accommodation), • Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and climb stairs, • Stand and walk for extended periods, • Work outdoors and indoors in varying weather conditions, • Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout a shift What We’re Looking For • Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, • Comfortable with manual labor and fast-paced environments, • Strong communication and teamwork skills, • Ability to follow detailed instructions and timelines, • Valid driver’s license and comfort driving company box truck vehicle (must be able to pass MVR check), • Event, warehouse, moving, delivery, or hospitality experience is a plus — but not required Enough about you; this is what you need to know about us: We're a family-owned business that's been revolutionizing the wedding industry since 1986. As a Driver, you will nurture vital connections as you deliver nutritious, health-supporting meals directly to homebound clients and senior sites throughout San Francisco and Alameda counties.
