Weston is a top South Florida location for healthcare professionals, offering family-friendly living, excellent schools, and easy access to beaches and cultural attractions.\n \n\nRegistered Nurse Job Details\n\n • Location: Weston, FL 33331 (South Florida nursing jobs)\n, • Assignment Type: Travel Contract\n, • Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital\n, • Start Date: January 6, 2026\n, • End Date: April 7, 2026\n, • Duration: 13-week travel nursing assignment\n, • Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:45 – 17:15), on-call requirements (1 shift/week, 2 weekend 12-hour shifts/month)\n, • Hours per Week: 40\n, • Estimated Weekly Salary: $2120–$2180\n, • Unit: Operating Room – Transplant focus\n, • Charting: EPIC EMR\n, • Scrub Color: Ceil Blue\n, • Parking: Free in any unrestricted space\n\n\nOR RN Qualifications\n\n, • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room Registered Nurse experience with direct involvement in liver, heart, lung, and kidney transplant surgeries (organ implantation required)\n, • Proficiency with MISONIX/CUSA surgical equipment\n, • Active Registered Nurse license (Compact nursing licenses accepted)\n, • Certifications: ACLS, BLS (active at submission), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)\n, • Ability to float within scope to other OR cases as needed\n, • Experience supporting a teaching hospital environment\n, • Two recent professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty (within past 12 months)\n, • All requested time off must be disclosed at submission\n, • Completion of required modules and assessments prior to start\n\n\nOR RN Responsibilities\n\n, • Scrub and circulate for complex transplant surgeries (liver, heart, lung, kidney)\n, • Participate in organ implantation procedures\n, • Operate specialized surgical equipment (MISONIX/CUSA)\n, • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams in a teaching hospital\n, • Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR\n, • Maintain strict infection control, safety, and universal protocol standards\n, • Float to other operating room cases as needed\n We believe in empowering your career.
