The opportunity As a Reliability Engineering Test Technician within our Reliability Engineering team you will play a hands-on role in supporting the development and validation of Magic Leap products. Youll be responsible for executing and troubleshooting system- and module-level reliability tests while working closely with engineers to ensure accurate test results and actionable insights. Your work will directly impact product quality performance and long-term reliability in the field. What youll do • Execute detailed test procedures and document test results, • Analyze data and collaborate with Reliability Engineers on findings, • Configure and operate complex test setups using high-accuracy measurement equipment, • Troubleshoot equipment and test samples to ensure accurate and reliable test results, • Maintain and calibrate test equipment as needed, • Handle and manage samples in coordination with cross-functional teams, • Assist in diagnosing issues with test instrumentation, • Prepare and update work instructions for lab technicians, • Track and maintain detailed records of testing progress and timelines, • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent hands-on experience, • 4 years of experience in reliability testing preferably in a fast-paced consumer electronics environment, • Direct experience executing reliability tests for high-tech hardware products, • Proficiency in writing technical test procedures and documentation, • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, • High attention to detail when handling samples and recording test data, • Comfort and confidence working independently in a lab setting All your information will be kept confidential according to Equal Employment Opportunities guidelines Please note that we do not accept any application documents via (e-)mail.
