Responsibilities: • Delivering frozen seafood products to restaurants., • Driving company owned trucks., • Unload product using equipment like lift gates, hand truck, ramps, etc., • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, fuel receipts, and complete necessary paperwork., • Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as refueling, checking fluids, and reporting mechanical issues., • Communicate with dispatcher, customers, and other team members to ensure efficient and safe operations., • Interact with customers in a professional manner, providing excellent service and ensuring timely deliveries., • Adhere to all applicable truck driving rules and regulations, including federal and state requirements., • Meet physical and mental requirements for driving a commercial vehicle, including good eyesight, hearing, and physical health., • Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions., • Navigate local streets and highways efficiently using GPS., • Verify orders before each delivery and maintain a detailed, comprehensive delivery log., • Communicate clearly with customers and food service employees, demonstrating an eagerness to work through any issues or points of confusion.
