With a strong focus on innovation, safety, and sustainability, the company delivers advanced technologies and reliable solutions that help customers improve productivity, efficiency, and environmental performance.In this role you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger by preparing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end close activities. You will analyze financial data, ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements, assist with audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting processes and internal controls.Role & Responsibility:Tasks That Will Lead to Your Success • You will collaborate closely with affiliates, maintaining clear and effective communication to ensure all intercompany accounts are accurately reconciled each month, • Assume ownership of a West Coast–based joint venture, including preparing monthly journal entries, participating in board meetings, and managing partnership invoicing, • Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support to staff-level team members to enhance performance, develop technical expertise, and ensure adherence to best practices, • Prepare, maintain, and take full ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual Balance Sheet account reconciliations and analysis, including investigating variances, resolving discrepancies, verifying balances are properly stated, and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting requirements, • Partner closely with Treasury to record and manage monthly financial activity for multiple foreign entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with reporting requirements, • Apply in-depth accounting knowledge to solve moderate problems and interpret internal/external accounting issues and recommend best practices, • Leverage technology, including AI-driven tools, to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the role. Skills & ExperienceQualifications That Will Help You Thrive, • You hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, • Five years of experience in finance, public accounting, or related experience, • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with experience in ERP systems; JD Edwards experience preferred, with the ability to leverage Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) to drive operational efficiencies, • You solve complex accounting issues independently and efficiently, • Demonstrate strong analytical skills paired with excellent verbal and written communication abilities, • Additionally, you will learn new processes and concepts quickly to support evolving business needs, • Apply accounting principles to manage revenue and corporate accounting tasks, • Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders, • Thrive in a team that values diversity and inclusion, bringing your unique perspective to foster respect, integrity, and belonging
