Job Description We are seeking a Server to become an integral part of our team! You will take orders and serve food to patrons at the dining establishment. Responsibilities: • Prepare and execute menu items consistently according to Pangea recipes, specs, and plating standards, • Maintain speed, accuracy, and quality during high-volume service periods, • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines (HACCP, temperature logs, cleanliness), • Set up, stock, and break down assigned stations efficiently before and after service, • Communicate clearly with chefs, expo, and team members to ensure smooth service flow, • Maintain clean, organized, and properly labeled workstations at all times, • Assist with prep, inventory rotation (FIFO), and minimizing food waste, • Receive and store deliveries according to quality and safety standards, • Support teammates and step into other stations as needed, • Take coaching positively and strive for continuous improvement Qualifications • Previous kitchen or line cook experience preferred (but willing to train the right candidate), • Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment, • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, • High attention to detail and commitment to food quality and consistency, • Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude, • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs, • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, • Valid food handler certification (or ability to obtain one), • Passion for hospitality, food, and personal growth Company DescriptionPangea is a chef and hospitality driven restaurant built on excellence and genuine connections.
