Bartender needed for Airport Lounge DFW Airport Plaza Premium Lounge Pay: $20.00 per hour Hours: Morning or Evening Shift (Est 7am-11am -or- 7pm-11pm) Assuming part-time hours, however, full-time maybe available once new schedule is created. A bartender’s responsibilities are: ensuring complete guest satisfaction by providing prompt, professional, and friendly service; preparing and serving beverages with accuracy and quality while taking full responsibility for drink preparation; maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar; monitoring inventory and updating beverage menus; preparing garnishes and other bar essentials; coordinating service efficiently; and anticipating and responding to guest needs with patience, empathy, and professionalism. Bartenders are also responsible for building strong customer relationships, promoting the bar’s concepts and values, and driving revenue through effective upselling of beverage products. Essential Job Functions: • Must be able to perform the following essential duties complying with company standards:, • Prepare and serve beverages and garnishes to standard, • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, • Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment, • Deliver consistent, timely, and high-quality service to guests, • Promote and upsell beverage products to achieve revenue goals, • Comply with company policies, safety standards, and health regulations, • Perform shift duties as scheduled, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, • Report on working on time and maintaining reliable attendance Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED is required, • Must be authorized to work in the U.S., • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language., • Ability to count, add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals including the ability to compute discounts and percentages, • Related background in hospitality, customer service or restaurant/bar service, • One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience, • Knowledge of cash management and experience in general office/document administration., • Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age according to state law, • Pass and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications including, but not limited to, state liquor seller-server certification (TIPS/TABC) and state/local health department food handler certification Requirements: • Report to work on time and practice perfect attendance, • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and possess outstanding communication skills, problem solving, and organizational skills., • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills in order to communicate in a professional and pleasant manner with customers, passengers, and team members., • Able to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e. Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off., • Must be able to pass and obtain security background check and clearance to work in airport environment, • Ability to bend, climb up/down, crouch, hear, kneel, reach, speak, stand, turn, twist, walk, • Must be able to lift 35 pounds, 40 inches high without the aid of another person, • Must be able to push and/or pull 120 pounds with the assistance of a wheeled cart
