The District Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, operational excellence, and guest experience standards across an assigned district. This leader maximizes financial performance through effective people leadership, process execution, and strategic planning while serving as a trusted partner to both corporate and franchise café teams. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership • Execute district-level strategic initiatives aligned with company goals., • Lead and support café managers to ensure consistent operational execution and exceptional guest experience., • Maintain rigorous standards around food safety, sanitation, and compliance with local and state regulations., • Utilize preventive maintenance programs to ensure café facilities remain in optimal condition., • Drive revenue and cash flow growth through strong P&L management., • Evaluate café financial performance and implement action plans to improve sales, profitability, and efficiency., • Ensure managers develop and execute focused sales and marketing strategies aligned with district goals., • Support corporate café operations and talent initiatives including recruitment, retention, and development., • Mentor and coach café managers to strengthen leadership capability and performance., • Identify training needs and collaborate with the training team to execute effective development programs., • Facilitate one-on-one and classroom training sessions when appropriate., • Foster a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and performance excellence., • Serve as a strategic partner to franchise owners and operators to ensure brand alignment and operational success., • Conduct routine operational inspections and provide actionable feedback to ensure brand standards are met., • Travel regularly within the district and to corporate and franchise locations., • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require. Qualifications • 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume retail, hospitality, restaurant, or related industries., • Multi-unit leadership experience strongly preferred., • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered., • Strong financial acumen with demonstrated P&L ownership., • Experience with POS systems (Toast experience preferred)., • Proven expertise in inventory planning and operational controls., • Adaptive, visible, and collaborative leadership style., • Exceptional communication and organizational skills., • High emotional intelligence with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively., • Passion for developing people and fostering high-performance cultures., • Brand ambassador mindset with strong alignment to mission and values., • Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
