The Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. 5+ years life insurance underwriting experience. $5+ million life insurance underwriting authority. The Ideal Qualifications: 10+ years underwriting experience. $10+ million dollar life insurance underwriting authority. Expert knowledge of all aspects of risk selection (medical, non-medical, financial). Mastery of key underwriting concepts, best practices, and procedures including identifying exposures to loss, material hazards, and implementation of necessary risk management controls. Strong knowledge of UW administrative systems, product rules, Underwriting Guidelines and medical factors impacting mortality and the keen ability to position with agents, brokers, and sales partners. Experience underwriting both term and permanent life insurance. Agency, brokerage distribution, banks or wire house underwriting experience. Reinsurance experience. Industry designations: FMLI, FALU, CLU, ChFC, etc. Demonstrated track record of working with minimal supervision, being a self-starter, and working with others in a team environment. As a Lead Dental Hygienist at Tend, you’ll do more than deliver top-tier preventive care — you’ll also set the standard for hygiene excellence in your studio. Job Description HOMEFINDING SUPERVISOR LOCATION: Brooklyn REPORTS TO: Homefinding Director DEPARTMENT: Enhanced Family Foster Care (EFFC) SCHEDULE: Time/Hybrid Full $1,000 Hiring Incentive AGENCY/BACKGROUND: Founded as an orphanage in the late 1800s by the Sisters of Mercy, MercyFirst is a voluntary foster care agency servicing approximately 3,000 children/youth each year in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island and Staten Island. Our foster care continuum of care includes Enhanced Family Foster Care, Prenatal, Pregnant and Parenting Agency Operated Boarding Homes, Group Homes, Diagnostic HTP Center and campus-based Residential Treatment Services. Our staff are professionally trained and committed individuals prepared to respond, adhere to, and provide quality human services while advocating for social change for the clients we serve. PROGRAM BACKGROUND: Enhanced Family Foster Care (EFFC) recognizes that all children in care have experienced some level of trauma, that their needs may change over time, and that their strengths must be supported to successfully reach their full potential. As a blended model, EFFC: • Responds to the needs of the children and family – Allows children, parents, and families to receive therapeutic services and support, accessing a full menu of options with less separation into different programs. Families in EFFC placements receive enhanced case management as well as a full array of services, treatment, and support to help them thrive., • EFFC increases placement stability for the child by allowing flexibility to increase and decrease services and support based on the child’s behavioral and treatment needs. EFFC supports the formation of a trusting and secure attachment relationship between the child and foster parent. Placement stability provides the opportunity for the foster parent and birth parent/family to build relationships with a shared goal of meeting the child’s needs. POSITION SUMMARY: • The Homefinding Department is responsible for the recruitment, training and certification of all foster homes within MercyFirst. With approximately 200 homes either certified/approved or in the process of recertification, Homefinding is the initial contact for prospective foster parents within the agency’s foster care division. MercyFirst approaches its long-standing commitment to provide safe, supportive, and adequate care to any child referred for service by ensuring that the foster families who provide full-time care and supervision are compassionate, well prepared and capable of meeting the needs of the children and families for whom they become partners in service. The Homefinding Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision, coaching and support of the Homefinding team, focused on marketing, outreach and recruitment, training, assessment, engagement and support of prospective and existing foster families. Approach to service is family-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. The qualified candidate will be responsible for supervising homefinding staff, tracking regulatory compliance, maintaining safe placements for children, adherence to reporting requirements and timeliness, and meeting programmatic outcome measures. Furthermore, occasional travel is required to our Queens, State Island, and Long Island office sites. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supervise, train and coach Homefinding Staff (Foster Parent Recertification Specialists, Foster Parent Trainer & offer support as needed to Foster Parent Recruiters and Case Aide and Director)., • Manage, track, and implement creative strategies to support Foster Parents meet mandated requirements (not limited to training, medical reports, criminal and child abuse and maltreatment clearances), • Lead National Training and Development Curriculum (NTDC) and Trauma-Responsive Informed Parenting Program (TRIPP), • Review all home studies and required documentation from each family to ensure home meets NYS and agency standards for annual recertification., • Complete the certification approval process of the home in Connections, ASARA & FACS., • Complete Safety Assessments, case consultations to resolve any concerns presented prior to certification and/or approval, and recertification., • Complete/monitor compliance of recertification process on Inactive homes as needed., • Daily monitoring, oversight management & collaboration with the Intake/Admissions team for the placement of children into foster homes., • Monitor, data update required licensing, home demographics, and all related foster parent information in Connections and ASARA., • Participate in EFFC visitation program., • Provide After-Hours Emergency Phone Coverage as per designated schedule., • Participate in all internal and external mandated meetings., • Promote positive working relationships between foster adoptive parents and members of the agency staff., • Ability to navigate systems of records used in the program: ASARA, Connections and FACS. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Clinical Director provides strategic leadership and oversight of all clinical services within a residential foster care program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed, and youth-centered care. Position General Summary: The Media Director, Health Media is a key member of the Health Media team and is responsible for delivering smart, innovative and performance driven campaigns for its healthcare clients. You will serve as a strategic resource and partner on clients’ current state and areas of opportunities across media investments, along with partnering with the greater Health Media team in selecting media partners that achieve strategic and tactical objectives in the world of healthcare and pharmaceutics. Additionally, you will lead and manage workflow processes to ensure fulfillment on all media planning, analysis, and scheduling requests. You will also partner with internal teams to ensure strategic direction and goals are achieved and reflected in tactical channel and cross-channel plan recommendations. The Media Director, Health Media will help lead the team in staying at the cutting edge of innovation within the industry and educate the larger client teams on relevant opportunities and challenges. Essential Job Functions and Duties: Main Responsibilities: • Act as key point of contact for overall health/pharmaceutical media investments business and strategy development, • Own client relationships as a main point of contact with accounts you are assigned to and provide in depth media planning and strategy to each account, • Expand and grow the Health Media offering at Havas Edge; identify and develop the optimal strategic and tactical performance campaign approach within channel (Display, Mobile, programmatic, etc.) and for cross channel development, • Develop and present client-facing Health Media plans and strategy presentations, • Develop guidelines and strategies that can apply across the business and to individual campaigns as they are planned in partnership with Strategy and Comms, • Oversee all media campaigns from concept to completion, ensuring campaigns are executed with excellence and media plans stay within budget, • Maintain quality control while ensuring projects and campaigns are produced completely, correctly, accurately, and efficiently for clients, • Identify and capitalize on trends through partnership with Client Service, Analytics and other Media leads to apply broader brand learnings, as relevant, • Partner with key media partners to develop unique opportunities and/or identify key initiatives for potential programs, • Be accountable for accuracy, media intelligence and thought leadership (syndicated insights, RFPs, etc.), • You demonstrate a solid understanding of our clients’ business, the business problem(s) to solve and offer solutions to, and the consumer journey, • Identify and advise on new ways to reach targets by staying apprised of industry standards, along with new media programs and opportunities Media Planning & Execution: • Operate and execute media planning and buying for the delivery of advertising campaigns for your client portfolio; evaluate and assess media performance to determine the extent to which the original media objectives, strategies and KPIs were accomplished, • Be accountable for reaching targeted client objectives, KPI’s, deadlines, budgets, etc., • Oversee and manage client requests, in partnership with Health Media team, to ensure client satisfaction on campaign delivery and performance is met (i.e. plan changes, budget changes, QBRs, etc.), • Ensure team members are providing Client Services with campaign insights, reporting and optimization recommendations, and input on regular reporting documents, • Oversee the implementation and execution of the cross-channel media research and media plan, which includes consumer profile development, consumption reports, flowcharting, budgeting, scheduling, and establishing benchmarks for control KPIs, CPA, etc., • Support and partner with Advertising Operations and Analytics team in streamlining and standardization of reporting and gathering of insights., • Work collaboratively on learning agendas for the clients brands as well as partner-specific initiatives Team Development & Leadership: • Lead and manage a collaborative, productive working environment with junior team members and other internal departments to ensure media strategies are being delivered and campaign goals/client needs are being met, • Support the VP, Health Media and Media Director’s in building a high performing Media team through continued education, fostering productive work relationships, and career growth opportunities, • Help establish challenging team goals and objectives balancing client, company and department needs, • Advise on team resources required in line with client needs, • Actively participate in the hiring and training process for direct reports, as well as other team members across the Health Media pillar Position Requirements: • You have a minimum 7-8 years’ experience in the digital media space, • You have a minimum 3-4 years of hands-on experience in media planning and media buying, specifically in an agency environment, • 2-3 years minimum at a healthcare or pharma focused agency, • You have prior experience in multichannel campaigns management (Display, Mobile, Programmatic, etc.), • You have experience within Ad Exchange platforms (i.e., Google, Facebook, etc.), • You are proficient with any of the following tools: AdServer, Prisma, Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance, Google Analytics, Datorama and other related software, • You have a solid understanding of media research and how to leverage data, • You have demonstrated success in "owning" high-quality campaigns that have provided measurable and meaningful results, • You understand the elements of strategic marketing performance planning and can actively participate to deliver against it, • You are familiar with the principles of marketing and advertising, media concepts and terms, creative, and budget requirements, • You demonstrate a complete understanding of agency planning procedures and internal capabilities, • You have prior experience overseeing media bookings and oversight of financial tracking, • You show proven success in establishing, building, and maintaining relationships with clients, • You can manage multiple projects with short timelines in a fast-paced dynamic environment and experienced in managing projects from concept to completion, • You work well under pressure, while maintaining accuracy, strict confidentiality, and a professional demeanor, • You enjoy interacting with people at all levels of the organization (internal and external stakeholders) and fostering strong cross-functional teamwork, • You have prior experience in managing, training, and mentoring junior staff; ability to set clear objectives and day-to-day priorities for yourself and junior staff members, • You are advanced in Microsoft PowerPoint (i.e. deck building) and Microsoft Excel (i.e. Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs), with the ability to analyze data and draw conclusive insights, • You have outstanding written and oral communications skills and the ability to think strategically, • You have a high level of attention to detail and organization, • You demonstrate high initiative and willingness to assume greater responsibility, • You are self-motivated and productive in both independently and in a collaborative team setting Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field of study WHO WE ARE: Build the Business.
