Department: Primary Care & Endocrinology ???? Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift. Between Monday–Friday Job Duties • Review schedule for day, note any possible barriers to patient appointment, • Perform telephone triage of patients by accurately assessing symptoms based on subjective and objective findings, • Enter orders into EMR system following the organization’s standing order policy and/or per providers’ written direction, • Performs physical, psychological, and social assessment of patients, • Serves as a liaison between providers and patients by assessing patient needs and communicating health information, • Evaluates the effectiveness of care delivered, • Administer medications/treatments as ordered by provider and complete prior authorizations for medication and diagnostic services, • Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, in accordance with internal and legal regulations, • Assist with examination and in-office treatment by handing providers instruments and materials, • Participates in staff development and staff meetings, • Provide excellent customer service with professionalism and strong interpersonal skills to ensure a positive experience for patients, vendors, and other healthcare team members Qualifications Education: • 1-2 years of nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting, preferred, • Strong clinical skills with an understanding of outpatient and ambulatory care procedures., • Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other healthcare technology, • Ability to perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and manage follow-up care., • Critical thinking, time management, strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to handle various clinical situations.
