Advance your nursing career as a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Registered Nurse and provide high-quality, evidence-based care in a supportive hospital environment just minutes from Memphis attractions.\n \n\nJob Details\n\n • Location: Midtown Memphis, Memphis, TN 38104\n, • Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC / Long-Term Acute Care Nurse\n, • Position Type: Travel Contract / Travel RN\n, • Assignment Length: 13 weeks\n, • Start Date: March 30, 2026\n, • Shift: 12-hour day shifts; 3 shifts per week\n, • Hours per Week: 36\n, • Openings: 5 RN positions\n, • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890\n, • Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) hospital – ideal for nurses with critical care/ICU experience\n\n\nJob Requirements\n\n, • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or multistate/compact RN license\n, • BLS (Basic Life Support) required prior to first shift\n, • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required prior to first shift\n, • Minimum 2 years recent bedside clinical experience; LTAC, step-down, or ICU experience strongly preferred\n, • Experience with ventilator management, tracheostomy care, and complex wound/skin care a plus\n, • Strong communication, teamwork, leadership, and documentation skills (EMR experience preferred)\n\n\nResponsibilities\n\n, • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for LTAC patients\n, • Deliver evidence-based nursing care consistent with hospital protocols and patient safety standards\n, • Manage ventilator care, trach care, complex wound management, and other LTAC-level interventions\n, • Supervise and support Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)\n, • Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record\n, • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, coordinate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and allied health professionals\n, • Initiate discharge planning and provide patient/family education from admission through transition\n, • Adhere to infection prevention practices and promote a safe environment for patients and staff\n, • Assume charge nurse responsibilities as needed and contribute positively to team dynamics\n GHR Healthcare Job ID #466475.
