Job Description Available positions at these current locations of Red Oak & Dallas, TX; Hartford, CT; Tucson, AZ; and Opa Locka • Quality Engineer, • A&P Mechanic, • Avionics, • Interior Remove & Install Tech, • Structures Tech, • Must be a US Citizen or a Permanent resident (i.e., ‘Green Card’) per ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) guidelines. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship or a foreign person per ITAR., • The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in a relevant field (such as mechanical, manufacturing or aerospace engineering). Candidates having minimum 8 - 12 years equivalent work experience may be considered., • Position is 100% onsite, shift is Monday - Thursday (4x10) with occasional support beyond standard work week., • Experience with the manufacturing processes of large to medium composite and/or metallic major structures., • Ability to understand, communicate and present complex technical information to a wide audience., • The candidate will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications., • Self-motivated, willingness to train others, and able to proactively recognize and prioritize business needs., • Experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD) required, experience with CATIA or NX a plus., • Strong understanding of engineering principles, blueprint reading & practices such as geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, model definition, tolerance analysis, and engineering bill of materials., • Strong mechanical aptitude, great attention to detail and exceptional communication skills, • Experience with AS9145 (APQP/PPAP) and ability to execute and lead a group to completion of all APQP outputs (PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP, etc.) preferred. AS13100 experience a plus., • Working knowledge of Process/Product Configuration Control and Change Management., • Strong mechanical aptitude, great attention to detail and exceptional communication skills., • Frequently required to spend sitting at a workstation and using office equipment., • May be required to walk or stand for brief or long periods., • May be required to use stairs., • Must occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move up to 40 pounds of office supplies and materials., • May be required to reach with arms and hands and to stoop, kneel or crouch. A&P Mechanic - Daily Responsibilities & Requirements • Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft, • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required, • Adhere to Company General Work Requirements for factory, shop and or hangar positions, • Comply with Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures., • Participate in 5-S activities., • Perform all work in a safe and timely manner, • Operate ground support equipment as required, • Perform mechanical / electrical removals and installations, • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed, • Assist other maintenance disciplines as needed, • Assist with fuel and/or de-fuel of aircraft as needed, • Assist with engine removal / installation as needed, • Assist with aircraft component repair as needed, • You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate, • You typically have a minimum of 5 years' aircraft maintenance work experience or substantiated equivalent experience, • You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings, • You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and/or aircraft status, • You have your own basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory and control of tools, • You have the ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required, • You are able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled work days and holidays, • You are able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside, • You have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA), • You have experience on corporate jets (preferred), • You have basic PC skills Structural Mechanics - Daily Responsibilities and Requirements • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft, • Fabricate and or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts, • Perform minor structural repairs on composite components either attached or detached, • Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures, • Assist with complex structural repairs either on or off aircraft, • Assist with aircraft component repair, • Remove / install aircraft components as required, • Comply with environmental health and safety policies/procedures, • Participate in 5-S activities Perform work in a safe and timely manner, • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required, • Operate ground support equipment as required, • Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations as needed, • Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed, • Assist with towing aircraft as needed, • Assist with other maintenance disciplines as needed, • Adhere to Company General Work Requirements for factory, shop and/or hanger positions, • You have received training from a sheet metal aircraft technical school or have equivalent schooling, • You typically have at least 3 years of aircraft structural sheet metal repair / modification experience, • You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings, • You have the ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status, • You own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory and control of tools, • You have the ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) qualifications as required, • You are able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays, • You are able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside, • You have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) if applicable, • You have basic PC skills Avionics/Elec Tech - Daily Responsibilities and Requirements. • Adhere to Company General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hangar positions), • Comply with environmental health / safety policies and procedures. Participate in 5-S activities. Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner, • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment, • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required, • Operate ground support equipment as required, • Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations, • Perform other duties as assigned, • May assist with maintenance at off-site locations, • Assist other maintenance disciplines, • Avionics / electric A/C Technical School or other substantiated equivalent, • Typically, 2+ years' avionics work experience or substantiated equivalent experience, • Ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings, • Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status, • Own Basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate Inventory & control of tools, • Must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required, • Must be able to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays, • Must be able to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside, • Ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (if applicable), • A Certification if required by customer (Commercial Aircraft), • GROL (General Radiotelephone Operator License) or AET (Aircraft Electronics Technician) Certificate, • Experience on corporate jet aircraft / commercial aircraft, • Basic PC skills Pay Rate is based on location, and experience.
