Job DescriptionWelder / Fabricator – $25–$20 per hour | Immediate Start 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Join a respected industry leader in the design and manufacturing of engineered process equipment for heat transfer and liquid filtration. Our client specializes in high-performance automatic strainers, heat exchangers, aftercoolers, and cyclone separators used in demanding industrial applications. We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator who takes pride in precision craftsmanship, safety, and producing top‑quality work. In this role, you will contribute directly to the fabrication and assembly of critical equipment used across multiple industries, including chemical processing, power generation, water treatment, and industrial manufacturing. Key Responsibilities • Perform high‑quality welding, fabrication, and repair work using MIG and TIG techniques on stainless steel and carbon steel., • Assemble, weld, and fit components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications., • Operate a variety of fabricating equipment, including brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses., • Utilize precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part specifications and ensure accuracy., • Set up and operate machine tools such as end mills, drill presses, edge planers, and other shop equipment as required., • Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and work instructions for complex assemblies., • Assemble and install components using appropriate hand and power tools., • Align, position, and secure parts and assemblies using clamps, jigs, fixtures, and measuring instruments., • Cut, thread, bend, and fit metal and non‑metal piping systems; connect fittings and secure piping with brackets, clamps, and hangers., • Operate engine lathes and additional machining equipment to meet precise tolerances., • Conduct routine equipment checks, maintain a clean working environment, and adhere to all safety protocols., • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and ensure product quality.Qualifications, • Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel., • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication schematics., • Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, metal properties, and industrial safety standards., • Proficiency with shop tools, fabrication machinery, and measuring devices., • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills., • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Compensation & Schedule, • Pay: $25/hr – $30/hr (based on experience), • Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday–Friday) This is a Permanent position based out of Tonawanda, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
