Job DescriptionDDD ADMINISTRATOR Developmental Disabilities Division Experienced NJ DDD Leader | Program Operations | Regulatory Compliance | Team Leadership At Peace Healthcare Agency is seeking an experienced and highly motivated DDD Administrator to lead and oversee the growth and operations of our New Jersey Developmental Disabilities Division. This is a leadership opportunity for a proven professional with strong knowledge of the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (NJ DDD) system, community-based services, regulatory compliance, staff management, and person-centered care. POSITION DETAILS Location: Mahwah, NJ 07430 Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience Organization: At Peace Healthcare Agency ABOUT THE ROLE The DDD Administrator will provide strategic, operational, and administrative leadership for our New Jersey DDD programs. This position is ideal for an experienced DDD professional who can balance program quality, regulatory compliance, operational performance, staff development, and organizational growth. You will work closely with executive leadership to build strong programs, develop high-performing teams, maintain compliance, and ensure that individuals receiving services experience safe, respectful, person-centered support. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProgram Leadership and Operations Lead the day-to-day operations of New Jersey DDD community-based programs. Ensure programs operate in accordance with NJ DDD regulations, Medicaid requirements, agency policies, and industry standards. Establish and monitor operational goals, performance measures, and quality standards. Identify opportunities to improve program efficiency, service delivery, and outcomes. Partner with executive leadership on program development, expansion, and organizational growth. Ensure consistent implementation of person-centered practices across programs. NJ DDD Compliance and Quality Assurance Maintain strong compliance with New Jersey DDD, state, and federal regulations. Monitor service documentation, client records, assessments, service plans, and required reports. Prepare programs for internal reviews, audits, inspections, and regulatory monitoring. Oversee incident management, investigations, corrective action plans, and quality improvement initiatives. Identify compliance risks and implement corrective measures in a timely manner. Establish systems that promote accountability, documentation accuracy, and continuous quality improvement. Leadership and Staff Development Recruit, train, supervise, mentor, and develop DDD Coordinators, DSPs, and administrative personnel. Build a strong culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and person-centered service. Conduct performance evaluations and establish professional development plans. Address performance concerns while supporting employee growth and retention. Provide guidance and leadership to staff managing complex client and service needs. Develop future leaders within the organization. Client, Family, and Community Relations Establish strong professional relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, Support Coordinators, healthcare professionals, and community partners. Respond to concerns and service issues promptly and professionally. Advocate for quality services and positive outcomes for individuals with developmental disabilities. Collaborate with community organizations and government agencies to strengthen available resources and support systems. Promote dignity, independence, inclusion, and self-determination for individuals receiving services. Financial and Administrative Management Oversee program budgets, staffing levels, resources, and operational expenses. Monitor staffing efficiency and ensure appropriate coverage for program needs. Prepare operational and compliance reports for executive leadership and regulatory agencies. Utilize NJ DDD iRecord and electronic documentation systems effectively. Support strategic planning, program development, and organizational expansion. Analyze program performance and recommend improvements based on operational data. QUALIFICATIONSRequired Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience in Developmental Disabilities, Behavioral Health, Human Services, Healthcare, or a related field. Strong working knowledge of New Jersey DDD regulations and community-based services. Knowledge of Medicaid waiver services and person-centered planning. Demonstrated experience managing programs and leading multidisciplinary teams. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, documentation requirements, incident management, and quality assurance. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance. Preferred Master's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline. Previous experience in a DDD Administrator, Program Director, Program Manager, Residential Director, Operations Director, or similar leadership role. Direct experience working with NJ DDD programs and systems. Experience with NJ DDD iRecord and electronic health/documentation systems. Experience with audits, regulatory inspections, quality assurance, corrective action plans, and incident management. Experience with budgeting, staffing, program development, and organizational expansion. Knowledge of positive behavior supports and person-centered service planning.
