American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Seattle, Washington. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist, • Discipline: Allied Health Professional, • Start Date: 01/05/2026, • Duration: 13 weeks, • 36 hours per week, • Shift: 12 hours, days, • Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab with 3 labs and 1 hybrid OR, • Performs cardiac stent placement, left and right heart catheterizations, PCI, IABP, Impella, PTCA, ventricular assist device insertion, and more, • Uses Siemens fluoroscopy equipment and Pyxis medication system, • Documentation is completed in Epic and McKesson; Epic experience required, • 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, • On-call required with typical coverage of 6 evenings and 1 weekend per 6 weeks, 30-minute response time required, • Must float between facilities within the state as needed, • Responsibilities include accurate monitoring and preparation for cardiac interventions, maintaining a sterile field, acting as room circulator, and procedural scrubbing, • Some procedures such as TAVR, Watchman, and OCT are preferred but not required, • Scrubs are provided, • All on-call assignments require a 30-minute response time from when called in, • Not eligible for candidates within 50 miles of the facility, • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months after separation before returning as a traveler, • Minimal to no RTO is permitted; all RTO must be discussed prior to consideration, • Holiday and weekend on-call coverage may be required, • COVID and Flu vaccination documentation may be requested\n \n Requirements\n, • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab settings, • Able to perform required cardiac cath lab procedures, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, vascular closure systems, and life-threatening arrhythmia recognition, • Experience with Siemens fluoroscopy, Epic, and Pyxis required, • Isolation precautions expertise required, • Must not be a first-time traveler, • References: 2 supervisory references covering 1 year in the last 3 years, within a comparable specialty/setting, • Required certifications must be current and available for consideration, • SSN and DOB required for consideration, • License required if applicable\n Benefits\n, • High Pay and Bonuses, • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options, • 401(k) Plan, • Weekly Payroll Deposit, • Free Online CEUs, • Generous Housing Allowance, • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements, • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy With thousands of travel nursing and allied jobs nationwide, our attentive and approachable recruiters find positions that align perfectly with your career aspirations and personal requirements.
