To protect your workforce, we are at your fingertips: internationalsos.com Job Description International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. is looking for qualified individuals to be the Chief for the Educational Services Facilitators for The Navy Fleet and Family Support Program (FFSP.) The FFSP serves active duty members of the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, and Air Force plus their eligible family members; active duty members of foreign military services who are stationed in the area; reserve military personnel and their family members when they are eligible for military medical care, military members designated as severely wounded, ill and injured and their identified caretakers and, on a space available basis, military retirees and their family members and widows, eligible family members of military decedents and other groups as directed and authorized by higher authorities in response to special circumstances. This person shall have oversight of provided Educational Services Facilitator’s programs and services world-wide, that directly support deployment and mission readiness by preparing service and family members to anticipate, understand and cope with the demands associated with the Navy lifestyle and operating tempo. This Functional Chief will work with Service leadership in planning a mix of programs tailored to the needs of the Service and which target different audiences to include single, married, parents and children, wartime and peacetime. This position will also direct service productivity standards, ensure all information and referral, one-on-one, and group education services provided by the educational services program’s staff are properly executed and ensure that staff delivering services are accounting for all services delivered. Key Responsibilities • Provide timely and effective program oversight of the educational services functions, coordinate regularly with Non appropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI) representatives and the Contract Site Leads, where available, regarding performance and quality of services provided by program’s staff and plan and ensure execution of quality assurance activities., • The incumbent is responsible for the execution of instructions and regulations affecting the service delivery in the programs, analyzing data gathered, briefings, and assisting in developing standardized curriculum and program implementation guidance and making recommendations for the delivery of educational programs., • Continually identify best practices for program delivery, assist in the development of curriculum and program implementation guidance to maintain educational programs., • Assist Regional FFSP Program Managers on development of marketing plans and campaigns., • Continually assess effectiveness of the educational programs and services execution and recommend adjustment of resources or changes to policy and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness to include the full list of educational topics provided by this program., • Collaborate with other FFSP personnel as the team works to provide FFSP support to individuals, families, commands and others entitled to FFSP services as outlined in FFSP directives. Required Skills and Knowledge • Educational qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in adult education or related field, a combination of college education and equivalent experience to a bachelor’s degree, or four years equivalent experience., • Demonstrate two years’ experience in training development and review, public speaking, and group presentation and facilitation skills., • Ability to interpret program evaluation, needs assessment feedback, and other data to implement results in educational program delivery and market planning., • Skilled in the use of program presentation technology and the ability to train others in presentation skill building for personnel who provide classroom training, workshops and seminars., • Must have the ability to prepare and conduct management briefings to communicate recommendations to program authority., • Must demonstrate two years’ experience managing, coordinating or supervising the delivery of educational services programs and services., • The Functional Chief for Educational Services shall possess a broad range of specialized work experience including working with family programs, military or civilian social service agencies, and/or is a military family member with full understanding of the military lifestyle., • Strong oral and written communication, assessment, data management, and advocacy skills are required., • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365. Additional Information Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
