Join a fast-paced radiology team performing CT scans and X-rays across inpatient, outpatient, ER, and ICU settings.\n \n\nJob Details\n\n • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 – $2,140\n, • Location: New York, NY 10003 (Manhattan – central, accessible; ideal for CT techs seeking New York CT technologist jobs)\n, • Contract Duration: 8 weeks (April 20, 2026 – June 15, 2026)\n, • Position Type: Travel CT Technologist / CT Tech (Hospital setting)\n, • Shift: Mid shift, 3x12-hour shifts (2:30 PM – Midnight, Wednesday–Saturday)\n, • Training Schedule: First 2 weeks: Tuesday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM\n, • Setting: Hospital – Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Adult ICU (orthopedic hospital)\n, • Caseload: Up to 20 patients per day (Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics)\n, • Scrubs: Charcoal Grey\n\n\nJob Requirements (CT Technologist / CT Tech)\n\n, • Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist or CT Tech in a hospital or imaging center\n, • ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications required\n, • Valid New York State License required\n, • IV Certification required\n, • BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required\n, • Experience operating Siemens CT equipment required\n, • Ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients/equipment in excess of 150 pounds (with or without assistive devices)\n, • Epic charting experience preferred (Epic experience is a plus for hospital-based CT tech jobs)\n, • COVID-19 and seasonal Flu vaccines required (no exemptions)\n\n\nCT Technologist Responsibilities\n\n, • Perform diagnostic CT scans and X-rays for orthopedic and general radiology exams using fixed and portable equipment\n, • Conduct X-ray procedures including extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, and upper/lower extremities\n, • Perform CT procedures: abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal imaging, brain perfusion, CTA, and multiplanar reconstruction\n, • Safely and efficiently operate Siemens CT scanners and related radiology equipment\n, • Rotate across multiple departments (inpatient, outpatient, ER, ICU) and collaborate with orthopedic teams as needed\n, • Maintain accurate patient records, image documentation, and basic Epic charting (preferred) to support continuity of care\n, • Adhere to radiation safety protocols, infection control, and hospital policies for all patient populations (pediatrics through geriatrics)\n GHR Healthcare Job ID #471923.
